With so much to do at Universal City Walk, it’s the perfect spot for a first date—leaving no room for awkward first date moments. So much to do and not sure what to choose? We recommend grabbing your date and heading to Hollywood Drive-In Golf for miniature golf. To add a little competition, have the loser buy first round of drinks.

2. The Wellborn

The Wellborn is more than just an instagrammable boutique hotel. It’s also home to one of Orlando-locals favorite bars and eatery. With unique cocktails, shareable plates, and a whole lot of board games, this laid-back date spot is sure to be a good time. Come for their weekend breakfast or late night drinks, you can’t go wrong.

3. Southern Hill Farms

Southern Hill Farms is an Orlando local favorite for families, friends, and especially dates. You can shop locally made gifts at the Southern Hill Market, enjoy their famous homemade blueberry lemonade, and even hand pick flowers to take home. This one hundred twenty-acre farm is filled with yummy treats and fun activities that’ll make for a perfect date.

Orlando is filled with an abundance of speakeasy bars, but one of our favorites is Hanson’s Shoe Repair for a first date. This speakeasy is hidden on the third floor of a historic Orlando building serving drinks that honor the original residence, the Hanson Shoe Repair Shop. With delicious drinks and a moody atmosphere, this is a romantic first date spot. 

In true speakeasy style, you’ll need a password to enter—call 407-476-9446 on the day of your visit to receive the password.

East End Market is a two-story market and food hall that has a little bit of everything. Walking around this market will make for the perfect date with Mochi Donuts, Vegan Chik Biscuit Sandwiches, and even florals. Sometimes they even have live music so you can do a little shopping, grab a bite to eat, then secure a seat in their courtyard to listen to music.

7. Go to an outdoor movie

Grab your date, blankets, and a lawn spot because you’re heading to an outdoor movie! Whoever says “movies aren’t good first date ideas” hasn’t been to a movie quite like this. There’s no better way to bond than cozying up with a blanket while enjoying a movie under the stars.
