Tampa Bay’s Best Dog Friendly Spots
Let’s face it, everything is more fun when your dog can come along! One of my favorite parts about living in the Tampa Bay Area is how many dog-friendly places there are all over the Bay. If your dog loves to play, spending the afternoon at an off-leash dog bar is the perfect option. Think about all the perks of your pup running around at a dog park, but in a safe environment while you sit and have your favorite drink! There are plenty of these bars popping up all over town, including Pups Pub and Two Shepherd’s Tap Room in Tampa, and The Dog Bar in downtown St. Pete. These establishments all charge a small daily fee for your dog to play or offer reasonable memberships.
Once your pup is all tired out and ready to be a *good dog* on a leash, there are plenty of dog-friendly restaurants and breweries around town to visit. If you’re looking for a bite to eat, Cask Social Kitchen, Salt Shack, and Sparkman Wharf in Tampa have great outdoor areas that allow dogs, or dine al fresco on Beach Drive in St. Pete at Stillwater’s Tavern or Cassis!
