Four Disney parks in one day?! Quite a daunting challenge, but we are up for it and you should be too! Welcome to the ultimate guide to visiting all four Walt Disney World parks in one MAGICAL day. Enjoy the best of all four parks while creating memories that will last a lifetime!
Two words: rope drop. If you aren’t typically a morning person, when planning to hit all four parks in one day, one must become an early riser! The best way to set yourself up for success is to get up early to knock out one park right at open. Which means getting to your first park of choice 1-2 hours BEFORE opening.
Don’t forget to factor in transportation! Walt Disney World is great about posting transportation hours including a bus schedule for the resorts and when other modes of transportation like the monorail and skyline begin running.
Our second tip is to purchase Genie+ prior to your trip and to make reservations ahead of time. Available on the My Disney Experience app, this service helps you plan out your day using data from restaurants and ride times. With Genie+ you will have access to real-time information on wait times, recommendations for the best time to ride each ride, and even when restaurants have the shortest wait time! While the service itself is super beneficial, it is also vital to book some individual Lightning Lanes for popular rides like Rise of the Resistance. These Lightning Lane passes will save you A LOT of time when it comes to visiting all four parks in one day and not missing out on your favorite rides!
First stop, Disney’s Animal Kingdom aka DAK! DAK opens the earliest of the 4 parks so it’s a no brainer to start your day off here. Plus we hear the animals are usually active in the morning so you will be able to see more animals than if you visited later on in the day. And if you haven’t eaten breakfast yet before getting to DAK, Hakuna Mata (it means no worries) because DAK has some incredible quick options and some of the best food out of all four Disney Parks (in our foodie opinion). From Creature Comforts (aka Starbucks) to Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery and more, there are plenty of delicious options to begin your packed day.
Our top rec for doing DAK right? Head straight to Pandora to get in line for Flight of Passage since this line racks up the biggest wait time in the park (if you haven’t secured a Lightning Lane time on Genie+ yet). Need a snack after your big flight? Grab a Pongu Lumpia—a scrumptious pineapple cream cheese eggroll from Pongu Pongu as you exit. After taking in the beauty of Pandora, head straight down the walkway to Africa for Kilimanjaro Safaris to see all the amazing animals. Want a more up close and personal meet and greet with DAK’s animals? We love both the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trails and the Maharajah Jungle Trek! These are perfect to walk through after enjoying a ride through the African Savanna.
After exploring Africa, it’s time to head where you will come face to face with a mighty big Yeti on Expedition Everest—one of our favorite thrill rides and views! As you exit Asia, make a pit stop in Dinoland and go back in time to help Dr. Seeker with his unofficial mission on DINOSAUR.
Complete your tour of DAK with a few more yummy snacks to fuel you for your next park. Our recommendations? Nomad Lounge for their famous churros, Yak and Yeti Local Foods for their honey sesame chicken and pork egg rolls, Satu’li Canteen in Pandora for their iconic cheeseburger steamed pods bao buns, and don’t forget dessert at Tamu Tamu Refreshments where you can get some refreshing dole whip!
It used to be that you couldn’t park hop until 2PM but now anyone with a park hopper ticket can park hop at any time, making it that much easier to visit all four parks in one day!
As soon as you are finished at Animal Kingdom, it’s time to rock-n-roll over to Hollywood Studios!
If you’re a Star Wars fan, we highly recommend booking an individual Lightning Lane for Rise of the Resistance as this attraction is one of the most popular. While Rise of the Resistance is one of the most incredible rides, there is SO much to experience in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. From character interactions including the newly popular Mandalorian and Grogu to Supreme Leader, KyloRen and his guard of StormTroopers it is very easy to get fully immersed in all the planet Batuu has to offer.
After experiencing a galaxy far far away, satisfy more of your thrills over on Sunset Blvd. with The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster! For younger families and those looking for less thrill but just as magical rides, check out the newest attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and then head over to Toy Story Land where you will become one of Andy’s toys and can experience fun attractions like Toy Story Mania and Slinky Dog Dash.
You will want to refuel with some snacks and we have a few star-studded recommendations for you! Check out Woody’s Lunchbox for some famous Totchos and their lunchbox tarts or mobile order a Ronto Wrap from Ronto Roasters or Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Galaxy’s Edge. After you grab a Ronto Wrap, check the Disney World app and see if a spot opens up for Oga’s Cantina and grab an out-of-this-world cocktail or mocktail (their mocktail list is massive and delicious) before setting off on your next park adventure!
Wave goodbye to your adoring fans because it is time to hop on the Disney Skyliner and head over to park number three—EPCOT! EPCOT is a very special park as it was dreamed up specifically by Walt Disney himself. EPCOT stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow and as you explore this lush park you will see just that!
Unless you visit during the very few weeks out of the year where there is not a festival going on, chances are you will be walking into one of one of four festivals. At this time of the year, the flowers are blooming and bees are buzzing so that can only mean one thing—EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival!
This is where we suggest you begin your journey! As you enter the park, grab a Flower and Garden booklet and make note of any of the food you want to try and special areas you want to check out. After this, we suggest taking a stroll through the new World Celebration area where you can see Walt’s new statue. Next is another new and refreshing area, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana! This interactive area is like stepping into a whole new world and is sure to keep you cool before venturing the rest of the world!
After exploring these two new areas, it’s time to begin your venture in The World Showcase. Get your Flower and Garden booklet out and begin either to the left or right (Mexico or Canada). There is only one right answer according to many!

Last but not least, rides! If you were set on grabbing a virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind then this is an absolute must next-generation rollercoaster! Next to Guardians, we suggest two classic EPCOT favorites—Soarin’ and Test Track. On Soarin’ you’ll take flight around the world, breathing in the sights and smells of some of the greatest wonders of the world. Next, put your own motor creation to the test at Test Track where you will take one of the most wild drives of your life!
It’s time for the grande fantasy finale! There is no better park to end this MAGICAL day than Magic Kingdom. Hop on the monorail in the front of Epcot and your next stop will be the gates of Main Street USA!
After enjoying the magical sights and smells of Main Street USA, head straight to Tomorrowland for two of our favorite attractions—Space Mountain and the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. After getting your fill of people watching, it’s time to enter into the land of fantasy! We suggest diving Under the Sea in the Journey of The Little Mermaid followed by a cool theater rest at Mickey’s PhilharMagic where you will immerse in a 3D fantasy adventure with Donald Duck and the crew.
After your short rest, it’s time to head over to Sleepy Hollow for a delicious quick service chicken and waffle snack which will keep your belly full until dinner. Next door you will find Liberty Square where we suggest volunteering as the 100th happy haunt at the Haunted Mansion followed by the wildest ride in the wilderness—Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (located in Frontierland).
The last land to venture over to is none other than Adventureland where you can join Captain Jack Sparrow and the other Pirates of the Caribbean! Ready for another snack or treat? Adventureland is home to Aloha Isle and Sunshine Tree Terrace where you can get many varieties of Disney World’s famous Dole Whip.
Last but certainly not least, it’s time to mobile order some dinner (we suggest corn dog nuggets from Casey’s Corner) and scope out the perfect viewing spot for Happily Ever After—Magic Kingdom’s asstounding fireworks show that is sure to get your dancing, singing, and even possibly moving you to tears. We are most definitely crying!
