Grab your board and meet us at Lee and Joe Jamail Skate Park. You can come show off your skills and meet so many people with the same interest as you. They are open every day from 9 am to 10 pm.  If you are a beginner there are plenty of places for you to try new tricks. The skaters here are at all levels and there’s so much inspiration. This great place is so much fun even if you don’t skate. You can grab a snack and watch the skaters do their thing! Don’t forget the sunblock because you’re not going to want to leave.

Go on A Scavenger Hunt for Murals

If you have the entire day to yourself, we suggest that you fill up your gas tank and mural hop around H-Town. There are so many magnificent art pieces that will captivate you. There’s a great appreciation for the art and artist when you see the murals in person. The talent definitely shines through! You can use the murals as backgrounds for social content or to just have a great photo to hang on your wall.

This is not your regular park! Market Square Park is one of the best free things to do in Houston! The park is located in the Historic Downtown District and has so many great things to do. There are live band performances, game nights, and movie nights! When the weather is nice there’s no reason to not be here! You can grab your blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks and make it a great night!
