Hanna Park Valentines Day For Singles In Jacksonvilleguide Free Things To Do In Jacksonville For Valentines Day 2022

Take a gorgeous hike at Bulls Bay Preserve waterfall, Bell Springs Trailhead, Florida Trail, White Springs, or your favorite state park to watch the seasons change. The peaceful sound of nature, combine with the serenity it provides, makes for a romantic day with your loved one. Take it one step further by stopping at your favorite local bakery and picking up Valentine-flavored picnic snacks. This is definitely a “Colors of the Wind” Instagram moment!

Murray Hill Murals In Jacksonvilleguide Free Things To Do In Jacksonville For Valentines Day 2022

You know we love a classic couple’s photo on the gram on Valentines Day. Find a cute spot to pose with your loved one; whether posting or not, we love an excuse to make a memory. There are a ton of murals all around Jacksonville so you can treat this as a free date idea to go explore them all! You could even make it a scavenger hunt and create clues leading to each mural!

Visit the Giant Swing in Avondale

This is a hidden spot in Avondale and it is perfect for a date idea. You can have a picnic on the benches with a waterfront view and push each other on the swing! The weather in Jacksonville is perfect for a relaxing swing in this beautiful area of town. It is so peaceful and open to the public. We recommend also visiting more Picnic Spots in Riverside!

Tip: You can park on the cul-de-sac or walk from the downtown shopping area!

Go to Riverwalk in Downtown Jacksonville

Go to Riverwalk and walk along the water with the beautiful city skyline in the background and stop by the Riverside Arts Market if you go on a Saturday! Riverwalk is one of our favorite walks and they just recently added art on the pathway to the Love Lock bridge. You can get a lock and write you and your special someone’s initials and add it to the bridge. If that is too lovey-dovey for you, you can enjoy the scenery on this easy walk. We like to start from Memorial Park in Riverside and take the path all the way until the Downtown area.

Sweet Petes 2 Valentines Day For Singles In Jacksonvilleguide Free Things To Do In Jacksonville For Valentines Day 2022

Sweet Pete’s, located in Hemming Park, is perfectly fixated in a historic mansion and features multiple levels–the outside is classic but the inside is extraordinary. For every holiday, they usually go all out and a local decorator comes and makes the shop into a wonderland. We know that Valentines Day won’t be any different so make sure to stop by, get a free sample of their delicious caramel and take some photos.

We promise you that Sweet Pete’s is one of the happiest places to visit in Downtown, and is one of the best candy shops in Jacksonville! And if this shop makes you crave more candy, we have a list of even more Candy Shops in Jacksonville that you can visit.

Fill up your Valentine’s Day date with memories, laughter and love with any of these romantic free date ideas!
