1. T-Rex Cafe

Another family-friendly spot for kids at Disney Springs is the iconic Rainforest Cafe! It’s hard to miss this giant volcano-shaped restaurant that even sometimes erupts with lava! Bring your family to the rainforest to enjoy a taste of the islands with coconut shrimp, scallops, and tilapia topped with pineapple salsa, and stay for the entertainment of Tracy the Talking Tree. 4. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium

With a name like Toothsome Chocolate Emporium, it’s no secret that kids love this restaurant, located at CityWalk at Universal Orlando! Indulge in classic American fares like burgers and steak, but save room for the grand finale. The foundry has gourmet chocolates, artisan milkshakes, and amazing sundaes.

The only thing you’ll be worried about here with your family is if you can eat your ice cream before it starts to melt!

5. Rock and Brews

Who said that kids don’t like to rock and roll? Relive your glory days at Rock & Brews, one of those hidden gems in Orlando that knows how to throw a good family-friendly (and also, adults-only) party! 

It was a must on our list with great food, rockin’ music, outdoor dining, and kid and pet friendly. Enjoy amazing appetizers like their giant soft Bavarian pretzel, BBQ pork, and beer-battered fish tacos, but stick around for the live music and rockin’ atmosphere.

Located near the Orlando airport, it’s the perfect spot to spend an afternoon with the kids.

6. Sugar Factory

Do you and your kids love sweets? It’s hard not to at a place like the Sugar Factory! Located on International Drive at ICON Park Orlando, satisfy your sweet tooth with gourmet milkshakes, culture pops, or the famous King Kong Sundae with 16 scoops of ice cream and sparklers!

Sugar Factory also has a fantastic brasserie atmosphere, so it’s perfect for birthday parties or celebrations that any age can enjoy!

7. Plant Street Market

Plant Street Market, located in Winter Garden, is a block of delicious food vendors and shops, all inside a vintage indoor food hall. Kids can enjoy fan-faves like pizza, fancy mac n’ cheese, and smoothies while you enjoy an ice-cold beer from Crooked Can Brewery.

Be sure to check out their website and social media, as they are always hosting fun and exciting events that are perfect for the whole family to enjoy! And yes, that includes your fur-babies, too. And although the market closes early, you can still stick around for Crooked Can, open late.

What kid doesn’t love delicious BBQ, tacos, and nachos while dining outside surrounded by funky art and fun decorations? That’s what Yellow Dog Eats offers in Gotha, which is just outside Orlando near Windermere!

Yellow Dog Eats has some of the best BBQ around, and it’s a great hangout spot for your and your family to relax and enjoy live music in the historic building. Of course, it’s pet-friendly with a name like that, so even if you don’t have a yellow dog, you can bring your pup!

9. Boi Brazil

Do you feel like your kids are always hungry? Well, then bring them to Boi Brazil Churrascaria, located on International Drive in Orlando, where they can eat as much as they want! Boi Brazil is a Traditional Brazilian Steakhouse that serves fixed-price meals with grilled meats and an extensive salad bar.

Your kids will love the servers that come around with mouth-watering meats that they carve for you right at your table!

10. The CowFish Sushi Burger Bar

If you love sushi and burgers, it’s time to check out the amazing Cowfish Sushi and Burger Bar located at CityWalk at Universal Orlando! This family-friendly fusion restaurant offers hand-crafted traditional sushi and burgers but also likes to mix things up a bit with their not-so-traditional rolls!

They offer bento boxes where you can sample both sushi and burgers, and kid’s bento boxes featuring candy “sushi” and burger sliders! Your kids will also love checking out their real cowfish they keep in the aquarium at the restaurant!

If you have adventurous eaters that love to try new things, you’ll definitely want to check out Wave Sushi Mount Dora. Located just west of Orlando, this famous sushi joint is known for its remarkable creations like the sushi taco, sushi pizza or even sushi hot dog!
