5 Amazing Spots to Get Ice Cream in St. Pete Beach

A Story By

Tampa Bay is hot all year round, so grabbing a waffle cone or bowl of ice cream is always a great idea! You can get good ice cream in St. Pete Beach, but eating local means the best ingredients, the freshest ice cream, and the friendliest faces.

So don’t risk going someplace where the ice cream machine isn’t working — head to one of these awesome local spots for the best ice cream in St. Pete Beach!

For 30 years, Larry’s Ice Cream & Gelato has been a staple in the St. Pete Beach community. They’ve been serving up homemade waffle cones (which you can smell before you walk in!) and over 100 flavors of rich, creamy ice cream. They have some standard favorites, like birthday cake, butter pecan, and cookies ‘n’ cream. But you’ve got to try some of our favorites, including bubble gum, banana, and cappuccino chip!

If you’re more of a fro-yo kinda person, they’ve got over 30 flavors of 97% fat-free frozen yogurt. You can also get sorbet, sherbet, frozen custard, and autentico gelato italiano in so many delicious flavors.

Want your ice cream on the go? Have a milkshake or malt. Care to make your shake boozey? Order a beer or wine float instead of root beer or soda one. Or, you can just have beer, wine, or local kombucha with your meal.

They do more than cold treats, though! Pair one of their donuts for breakfast with a hot or cold brew coffee or get it as part of a decadent sundae. Go with classic parlor fare like topped hot dogs, burgers, nachos, pizza, and homemade pretzels. Have dinner and dessert at one of the absolute best places to get ice cream in St. Pete Beach.

Ice & Cream Creamery is a spectacular local cold treat shop that serves over 30 flavors of traditional ice cream. To make it, they use only fresh, locally sourced ingredients and unique flavor combinations to keep customers coming back for what’s new.

If you’re like us and love strawberry ice cream, you have to get theirs since it’s oh-so-fresh! The coconut almond fudge has the tropical sweetness of coconut with the decadence of chocolate, like the best frozen Almond Joy you’ve ever tasted! Some of the other awesome flavors include cotton candy, peanut butter fudge, coffee, and red velvet cake. Oh, and if you’re in the mood for something less ice cream-y, you should try their sorbets in watermelon, raspberry, and mango.

When you grab a cone, bowl, shake, or twister at Ice and Cream Creamery, you’re also helping support the local arts community, since this St. Pete Beach business loves to give back.
