Local Business Spotlight
Looking for somewhere to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day? You have to check out Strandhill Public! This bar is quite honestly the best Irish Pub we’ve ever experienced. We suggest ordering a cocktail; our favorites are the No Bell on Your Bike and the Irish ’79. But if you had to get only one thing there, you MUST try their Shepherd’s Pie. It’s absolutely divine! Their Six-Minute Irish Egg is another excellent choice.

Day Trip to Sarasota
Looking for a little weekend getaway? Why not spend a day in Sarasota! My family lives in the area and I’m going to tell you all of my favorite spots, so you can spend the perfect day in SRQ:
Start the day at Buttermilk Handcrafted Food, one of my favorite hidden gems in Sarasota! Not only is this place totally Instagramable inside and out, but their food is also amazing. They do have limited hours, you’ll want to check out some other brunch places in Sarasota for a backup!
Of course, you’re going to want to head to the beach if the weather allows! I prefer to go to Lido Beach because not only is the beach beautiful, you can also shop (and drink😉) around St. Armand’s Circle.
And don’t worry if it’s a rainy day, the museum scene in Sarasota will keep you occupied! My recent favorite is the Sarasota Museum of Art. It is an old high school that has been transformed into gorgeous grounds with interactive art pieces and unique pieces.
