If we’re going to be honest, we love a good cocktail after a long work day. It’s nothing wrong with us treating ourselves after work, and there’s nothing wrong with you doing it either! And what better way to enjoy a drink than at discounted prices? St. Augustine is the oldest city in the United States and still manages to have the newest chic and modern craft drinks! Take a look at these spots for happy hour in St. Augustine.
A1A Ale Works
The happy hour at A1A Ale Works is not your usual fruit cocktail menu. The list of ales here goes on and on and seems as though they have an unlimited selection of delicious drinks.
They name each drink and each one is very rich in taste. The Cigar City Brewing has a very intense tangerine flavor and has candied orange peel in the drink. On top of this, you get flavors of clementine, making it a smooth, citrusy ale.
Scarlett O' Hara's
Scarlett O’Hara’s has been voted the “Best Bar” by Folio Weekly Magazine for eight years! And these rave reviews come from Scarlett’s having a service and menu like no other.
First, we love the set up. Walking in, you’ll be impressed by how gorgeous this place is. And the drinks are served with pretty slices of fruit on the side! So, cheers to this happy hour in St. Augustine!
And they have karaoke nights! Show off your singing voice as one of these get togethers.
From 3PM-7PM, MOJO BBQ‘s happy hour is serving draft, craft, liquor, wine, and cocktails.
We like cocktails and wines so we would try the Black Pearl cocktail. The base is Captain Morgan and spiced rum with a dash of elderflower liqueur, blackberry, lemon, and ginger.
And for the wine? A nice rose. Courtesy of J.P. Chenet.
The Chatsworth Pub
We’re going to let you know before we get into it-The Chatsworth Pub is NOT your average bar. Yes, Chatsworth has awesome baristas who can make just about any drink you can think of, but it’s so much more than that.
Happy hour is a big attraction here and one of those reasons? The cocktails. They have a drink called the Queen’s Spritzer that has prosecco, muddle strawberries, and a splash of orange juice. But wait. There’s more…
Doughnuts! You can add a doughnut to the top of your drink. So imagine a strawberry cocktail with a glazed doughnut on top that also comes with berries surrounding the glass!
