Be sure to double-check for any updates at events and venues before making plans to head out.
1. Talk Derby To Me
The bigger the pearls and hat, the bigger the personality! At least that’s what we like to say to ourselves on the daily.
We’ve found the perfect chance to show off our flashy wardrobe at The Rustic San Antonio, in time for the annual Kentucky Derby celebration! By dressing up we’ll get a shot at winning super cool prizes because they’ll be hosting contests too!
Don’t forget about the awesome live music all day and of course the Derby classics like Triple Crown Sliders & Mint Juleps!
More event info:
- A delicious full menu will be available ALL Day, so make sure to fill your bellies with some yummy food AND drinks!
- Space AND Parking is extremely limited, make sure to RSVP, and arrive early! First come, first served!
- Fun and entertainment, Rain or Shine!
- A message from The Rustic: “Ride Sharing is strongly suggested. Don’t drink and drive. Your safety is our top priority.”

This time around Mickey and the whole squad will be in search of Tinker Bell, so make sure you pay attention to ALL of the clues throughout the show!
We’re excited for cotton candy and twinkling lights! But EXTRA pumped to see all of our favorites like Miguel from Coco, Moana, and even Woody with his pals from Toy Story doing awesome stunts while skating, and delivering amazing new stories and songs.

5. Helotes Cornyval Parade
Spring weather is the perfect type of weather to enjoy a nice parade! Well, guess who’s in luck? You are! Helotes is celebrating their 40th anniversary with a GRAND Parade and you’re invited!
Bring your chairs and blankets to sit and enjoy the amazing floats from your favorite elementary schools, high school marching bands, and the Fire Department too! (We love the big, red fire truck! Always a winner in our book!)
Parades are great because you get to enjoy all your go-to snackies with family AND friends, like sweet and salty kettle corn or big, juicy candy apples! (We’ve been good with our healthy intentions, promise! So we’re splurging a little.) You might want to pack sunblock and sunglasses too!
Save us a seat, we’ll see you there!
