In the mood to try something new? Shake out the 2020 blues with fabulous music and a fantastic dance class! This weekend, learn to dance Bachata!
Bachata is a genre of Latin American music that originated in the Dominican Republic with remnants of indigenous and African musical elements. This music accompanies an 8-count dance form that is both sensual and fun. The dance holds the same moniker as the music it is inspired by.
Brought to you by Fuego Y Hielo Dance Company, these classes are not only a great time, but a wonderful way to get your body moving after all that sheltering-in-place. What a fun way to start the new year!
Classes are capped at 8 people and masks are required. These classes will be focusing on partner work, footwork, body movement & musicality. Each Monday offers two class levels, beginner and intermediate.
Classes are also streamed online if you don’t yet feel comfortable joining in the studio.
Purchase your tickets today. Vamos!

Fridays just got a whole new spin. The Spindle Kitchen presents: Bikes and Boardgames.
Every 2nd Friday of the month, at 7pm, ride bikes, then play board games. It’s as simple as that, and these cyclists pride themselves on keeping it simple and easy.
Each bike ride is very casual and no more than 8 miles and the best part is that it’s open to all. After your bike ride, you’ll end up at the bar to play some awesome board games. And, yes if you bring your games, they’ll play them. So, you’re sure to find at least one of your favorites.
The Spindle Kitchen is known to be a huge supporter of Atlanta’s cyclists. They also offer seasonal, holistic foods prepared with intention and focus on primarily plant-based cuisine sourced from Georgia Farmers.
How awesome is that? A little exercise, some healthy food, and a little old fashioned fun. Can’t beat that.
