Magical Ways to Celebrate the Holidays in The Heights

Curated By

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  We love the holiday season here at Stuff to Do in Houston.  There is so much to do, see and even taste that it’s hard to fit it all into a single season.  Never fear,  we are here to help!  Let’s get lit with 4 Fun Ways to Celebrate the Holidays in The Heights!

A tried and true holiday favorite is looking at lights! The Houston Heights Holiday Home Tour will be taking place on December 3rd & 4th and can be experienced in two different ways!

  1. Walking Guided Tour & Eureka Heights Tasting
    • A walking tour beginning at Marimon Park with a warm cup of Hot Chocolate and a kick-off party with live music by The Wonderfolk. This one hour tour will be led by a Houston Heights Associaton volunteer and will include beautiful lights, a bit of history and of course some samples from Eureka Heights.
    • Cost: $10
  2. Self Guided Tour
    • Take yourself on the tour with a digital guide provided by the Houston Heights Association.
    • Cost: $5 Donation

Miracle Pop Up

Miracle Pop Up is in the business of making Spirits bright!  One of our favorite cocktail bars in The Heights is transformed into a winter wonderland full of holiday cheer and some super fun libations.

The theme of Miracle Pop Up is so fun and covers everything from the lights to the cups your drinks come in. Try something more traditional like a Snowball Old Fashioned, or something a little crazy like a Fruit Cake Flip.

This spot is sure to put you in the holiday spirit, even Todd and Margo can’t complain!

Pope Tree Lot

Shopping for the perfect tree is always a fun way to celebrate the holidays.  Pope Tree Lot is the perfect way to do this in 2020.  Trees can be purchased online and will be delivered to your home at no additional cost. Pope Tree Lot will trim and adjust your tree to fit your chosen space perfectly.  No more fighting with those crazy tree stands and you can avoid a Clark Griswold scenario!

Not only can you get the perfect tree, but you can also get fragrant wreaths and garlands to deck the halls at home!  Wreaths and garland are pick up only and a pickup time must be scheduled.

Then of course get busy decorating that gorgeous tree!
