2. Austin Motel
The Austin Motel pool is one of the most unique hotels in Austin to swim at. Located right off of South Congress, guests can enjoy drinks from the bar while they lounge next to the kidney-shaped pool!
Reservations are required to lounge by the pool. It is $20 per person for a daytime three-hour time block, $40 on the weekends. They also have adult night swim passes for $20 on Monday through Thursdays and $25 on Friday through Sunday.
3. South Congress Hotel
Hang by the pool with your friends and enjoy the secluded feeling of the South Congress Hotel pool. Check out Café No Sé for poolside food and drinks!
Reservations are required to lounge by the pool. To make a reservation email your name and requested date + time. Daily pool passes are $30 per person.
4. LINE Hotel Pool
Enjoy the LINE’s lakeside infinity saltwater pool which overlooks the Congress bridge. Guests can grab food and drinks from the Veracruz All Natural Mexican Food walk-up window.
Day passes are $40 per person and are required to lounge by the pool. They are only available during weekdays while weekends are reserved for hotel guests.
5. Fairmont Austin
If you are looking for luxurious hotels in Austin to swim at, Fairmont Austin is your spot. From their state of the art, automatic contactless sunscreen kiosk to the poolside food and beverage service. Pool guests will also receive complimentary Evian Mineral Water Facial spritzes, chilled towels, frozen fruit, and other spontaneous pampering throughout the day.
Day passes for non-guests are $40 per person. Weekends are reserved for hotel guests.
6. W Austin
W Austin’s rooftop WET Deck is the perfect spot to enjoy the day soaking up the sun. Relax in their designer chairs or round up a group of friends to relax in a private cabana. Guests will enjoy a lively atmosphere along paired with tasty cocktails for an afternoon you won’t forget!

7. East Austin Hotel
The East Austin Hotel offers a beautiful courtyard pool for guests to enjoy. In addition to the pool, they have a pool bar featuring resort-style drinks you are sure to love!
Day passes are available for $40 per person. They are offered in three hour windows.
8. Hotel Ella
Hotel Ella’s boutique pool is perfect for a relaxing afternoon. Guests will enjoy poolside dining in addition to their afternoon lounge sesh.
Pool passes are available for $25 per person and can be reserved by emailing the hotel.
9. Hotel Magdalena
Hotel Magdalena has a gorgeous 900 square foot sunken pool in their courtyard setting. It’s the perfect spot to post up, read a book poolside or cool off under the Texas sun. Did we mention, it’s completely new? They just opened in fall 2020 so you’d be one of the first to take a hot summer dip in there.
Four hour pool passes are available for $40.
10. Thompson Austin
The Thompson Hotel is the place to go when you’re in need of delicious food. They share the same patio as the new hot restaurant and bar, Wax Myrtle. So you can take a quick dive into the pool to soak up the sun, and then head over for a full-course meal!
11. Canopy by Hilton
The pool at Canopy offers passes for $50, and there’s also a poolside bar, because who wouldn’t want to take relaxation to the next level? Canopy is also right above the restaurant Verbena, which has a variety of different foods perfect for whatever you may be craving.
12. Austin Marriott Downtown
The Austin Marriott is one of the classic hotels in Austin to swim at that many Austinites visit. Fortunately for you, the hotel has Corinne, a very popular restaurant that offers modern American food on the bottom floor. Also, Zanzibar is the bar next to the pool if you’re in need of a drink.
13. Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt
The pool at the Kimpton Hotel has a pool deck where you can indulge in cocktails and also shares a patio with the famous restaurant Geraldine’s.
If you decide to stop by during the morning for a swim, Cafe 605 is located on the bottom level of the hotel.
14. The Westin Austin Downtown
The pool at the Westin is home to the Azul Rooftop, where the pool gives off this beautiful hue of blue during the night. Following a trend from all the other pools listed, the Westin also has a restaurant nearby called Stella San Jac.
15. Hotel San José
Hotel San José is packed with surprises in terms of its amenities. You can enjoy a cheese board and a michelada in the courtyard lounge, which is a common gathering spot for both locals and visitors. The lounge area serves a variety of alcoholic drinks and is open Monday through Wednesday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
They even have a “lounge after dark” special where you can get 10% off the full menu Sunday through Wednesday from 8PM to closing time. It gets better: Hotel San José shares a parking lot with Jo’s Coffee, a right of passage if you’ve been in Austin for more than a day.
