The Peterson Events Centers Brand New Premium Experience

P-I-T-T, let’s go Pitt! The fan experience at the Peterson Events Centers just received a whole new upgrade! The 2021-2022 basketball season marks the inaugural year for the IC Light Baseline Club, a “premium party deck” that features amenities that make game-day that much more exciting. Consider the PITT game the cake and the IC Light Club the cherry on top!

The Details

With the goal of creating a great social experience, the IC Light Baseline Club is the perfect space to enjoy college hoops while making memories that will last a lifetime. Young alumni, former Oakland Zoo members, groups of professionals, friends and families alike are all welcomed to join this brand new perk. And don’t fret if basketball isn’t your go-to sport of choice, you don’t have to know much about it to have a good time! The members of the PITT Athletic Department just wanted to create a space that is welcoming to wide range of fans!

The Experience

Perfectly fixated in the open concourse below the end zone scoreboards, the IC Light Baseline Club features an ideal view of the entire arena! The space is set up like any one of your favorite local bars, with hightop tables, bar-style seating (with a view of the court) and two exclusive bars located at each end of the club. And the vibes in this space emulate your favorite local pub as well. Chant along with cheerleaders, dance with the band, sing your favorite song over the PA system, grab a pic with Roc and more!

The bars are stocked with some of Pittsburgh’s favorite booze including IC Light, Iron City Mango, Blue Moon, Yuengling and more. Plus, if beer isn’t your thing, they have wine and liquor too!

But wait…what about the food?! Well the IC Light Baseline Club has that covered too! Members enjoy access to speciality food options that aren’t available at any other concession stands in the arena. Fans are also welcome to bring their favorite concessions from other stands into the club as well.

The best part? The club opens up two hours before tip-off meaning you have more time to have a good time! Oh, and did we mention it’s less than 50 feet away from PITT’s awesome pro-shop? Easy access to gear, exclusive food options and optimal seating..say less!

The Membership

Members of the IC Light Baseline Club will also be given the opportunity to reserve seats and general admission passes for any PITT home game. This means you will have the opportunity to customize your package to ensure that all of the games fit into your schedule. Members will also have access to unique giveaways including t-shirts and rally towels, as well as speciality raffles throughout the entire season. You can easily manage all of these benefits through the PITT mobile app.
