More Things to Do in Tampa Bay
A Day in Downtown Dade City
A retired Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleader, and TV Guest Host on HSN in St Pete, FL- I have lived in the Tampa Bay Area my whole life and am so proud of how far this incredible city has come! I live towards the North end of Tampa and some of my favorite things to do are head to Downtown Dade City. I got married in this unique and small-town life city on October 3rd, 2020 on a private equestrian farm called Barrington Hill Farm. It wasn’t until I started to explore my wedding venue’s town that I truly fell in love with all of the things Dade City offers.
My favorite way to spend my weekend is heading to Downtown Dade City with my Husband where we start with Bellini’s and Bloody Marys’ at The Green Door on 8th. Afterward, I head to The Farmhouse Market and Cafe for their Gluten Free homemade Cider Donuts and shop for fresh veggies from their fresh market. Another Dade City favorite is the most adorable lunch spot called Lunch on Limoges. Women in cute white aprons will greet you with fresh homemade raspberry tea and homemade muffins made with assorted fruits and matching butter.
Another feature that this unique and historical town is known for its antique shops. After your antiquing adventure, make sure you enjoy a nice dinner before you leave town! For dinner, you can’t miss the chance to head to Kafe Kokopelli for their fabulous menu. My go-to appetizer is the Almond Crusted Fried Brie with wild berry compote, local honey served with crackers. For the main course- I always get the Beef Bibb & Blue Salad! Kafe Kokopelli is known for their desserts and the most famous for their Bananas Foster made tableside. Cocktails? They have the best! Pair your salad with a glass of Malbec and you will be in heaven.
