Ringling Museum
With pink walls, mosaic tiles, and luscious green gardens, Ringling Museum in Sarasota could double as the 8th wonder of the world! This art museum is one of Florida’s must visits, so if you haven’t been you need to make a trip soon. All around the museum there are plenty spots for a photo op in front of their cool art exhibits. But the main feature has to be their outdoor courtyard! Their long hallway and perfectly kept garden are amazing spots to get a couple posts for your Instagram feed.
Ca' d'Zan at the Ringling
Whether you are taking professional photos or want a spot with different scenery options so you can get a ton of photos, Ca’ d’Zan is one of the coolest spots to visit to take pictures! This larger than life mansion is Venetian gothic inspired, as the previous hone of the American circus owner -John Ringling. The space is breathtaking, with stained glass windows, high ceilings, and a sprawling waterfront patio made of stone and marble.
Bayfront Park
A tropical Florida park with a waterfront view AND a tiki bar? Sign us up! The Bayfront Park in Sarasota is a chill park with plenty to explore. Their huge promenade leads up to intimate rock beaches and a gorgeous view of the calm waters. If you’re visiting to take pictures, we recommend visiting during Golden Hour – right before sunset! The lighting is beautiful and the space comes alive with the colors of the Sarasota sunset.
Ritz Carlton Beach Club
To add some luxury to your Instagram feed, look no further than the Ritz Carlton Beach Club. Whether you are visiting one of their chic restaurants, their tropical tiki bar, or having a staycation in their suites, you need to stop for some amazing photos. We recommend visiting their pool for some bikini pictures at their poolside cabanas, as the atmosphere is true Floridian luxury with a waterfront view of the beach!
Siesta Key Beachside Villas
Next time you’re craving a beach vacation, take a reservation at the Siesta Key Beachside Villas! In the courtyard, there is a great palm leaf tiki area and a white lace hammock – perfect for a photo op with your girlfriends. Or, take a short walk to Siesta Key Beach for a fun photoshoot! Siesta Key is such a calm and beautiful beach, a great addition to any Instagram feed and a fun way to spend the weekend.
Art Ovation Perspective Rooftop
If you crave less of a tropical Florida vibe but still want a vacation vibe for photos, the Art Ovation is a mod and artsy hotel perfect for you. You need to check out their rooftop pool and bar, perfect for taking pictures with yummy cocktails. We love their chairs and umbrellas, they’re so unique for a beachside resort – reminiscent of hotels in LA or overseas!
Siesta Key Village
Siesta Key Village is home to tons of shops, cafes, and even events – like festivals and art shows! The different local shops are super cute, full of color and unique themes. You can even grow your foodie side by taking pictures at one of the many different restaurants. We recommend checking out the Daiquiri Deck and the Sun Garden Cafe!
Sarasota Art Museum
Larger than life art installations, huge paintings, modern murals – oh my! The Sarasota Art Museum is an Instagrammer’s dream. One of our favorite spots for pictures is their huge red yarn installation that weaves from the ceiling to the floor, you can even walk through it for a photo! You’ll love to stroll through their rotating collection of art, with a huge variety of modern art.
Burns Court
Burns Court is an adorable piece of historical Sarasota, built in 1925. This historical neighborhood is an amazing area for a day trip! Burns Court is home to amazing shops, Mediterranean houses, and tons of things to do. The entire neighborhood is picturesque for a local vibe for your Instagram feed, but for a cute background – check out the Sarasota Film Society! This is a local movie theatre that is entirely pink, for a sweet retro vibe that you can explore.

Shoogie Boogie's
Shoogie Boogie’s is a hidden gem in the Sarasota area! Shoogie Boogie’s is an indoor and outdoor garden room cafe built in a revamped garden cottage. This gorgeous spot is the perfect brunch spot, we recommend sitting in their sunny atrium – full of plants and vines! It’s the perfect place to take pictures and finish your day trip to Sarasota on a high note!
The Roof Bar, The Westin Sarasota
The Roof Bar and Eats is one of our favorite spots to view the sunset and the Sarasota skyline. Out of all the Sarasota rooftops, this is our favorite! Whether you’re visiting during the day or having a night on the town, The Roof is a breathtaking spot for drinks, food, and taking Instagram photos. Take advantage of their view from the 19th floor of the Westin!
O'Leary's Tiki Bar
Located at Marina Jacks Park is O’Leary’s Tiki Bar, the outdoor tropical restaurant of your dreams! This open air patio is perfect at sunset, great for hanging out with friends. We recommend ordering a couple of their super cute tropical drinks for pictures! Whether you’re a foodie Instagram or just want some pictures with your crew, O’Leary’s is always a great pick for a night out.
The Overton (in the Rosemary District)
The Overton is a verdant and industrial cafe, almost made to take pictures in! We love their green theme, which looks great against their wood and cement accents. It’s a great spot to grab lunch before hitting one of the nearby museums! We recommend ordering their famous Cereal Milk Coffee, yum!
Myakka State Park Observation Tower
For a fun hike and time outdoors, the Myakka State Park is a great spot to visit. Not only is there so much pretty lush greenery and a waterfront view, but there’s also this super tall wooden bridge and observation tower! It’s such a cool area of the park to take pictures from and experience. Also, there are different alligators and wildlife that wander through the park – so get some of that real Florida life on your Instagram feed!
John Ringling Bridge
If you love fitness, fitness posts, and sharing your workout, then you need to make a trip to the John Ringling Bridge! This palm tree lined bridge goes across the Sarasota Bay and features one of the most popular trails in Sarasota to go jogging or cycling. It’s one of our favorite spots to visit because of the beautiful waterfront view, try visiting during sunset or at dawn!
