The Southern Gentleman is hosting their annual Kentucky Derby party on Saturday and you are going to want to be part of the celebration! There are going to be multiple screens, an opportunity to win prizes, contests, special cocktails, and more. Keep calm and get your derby on!

2. Fiesta de Mayo
Live! at the Battery is always hosting some sort of fun event, and this weekend they have one of their most fun events coming back! Celebrate Cinco de Mayo early this weekend with their Fiesta de Mayo event.

Live! at the Battery
Fernbank Museum is back with their April after dark event: Museum Chills and Science Thrills. This month’s theme is ‘Spring Fling’ and it is bound to be so much fun.
Enjoy after-hours access to exhibits, themed science experiments, and more with a yummy adult beverage in your hand. If you’ve never been to Fernbank before, this is a great way to see it!

The only thing better than watching a cozy movie is watching it outdoors! The Avenue East Cobb Summer Movie Series begins this week, and they’re playing Shrek.
There are both walk-in and drive-in spaces available. The best part is that all proceeds go directly to CHOA. This is a great event if you’re looking for fun things to do in Atlanta this weekend with the whole family.

Who doesn’t love a bomb popup shop? Purchase some great finds through local Black retailers and entrepreneurs from around Atlanta and help support local business by attending the Pop of Culture Popup Shop.
Shop til you drop from these incredible Black-owned businesses. There will be food, music, networking, and more. Join us this Saturday for all the fun!

If you haven’t checked out Barleygarden Kitchen & Craft Bar in Fayetteville yet, you are missing out! Order a beer from their extensive beer list and be sure to grab a bomb burger to pair with it.
