This weekend enjoy Atlanta from the Ashes: A Downtown History Tour. This unique tour begins in the heart of Downtown with stories of Robert W. Woodruff Park. Guides will cover the history of the surroundings and touch on some of the most influential people and events of Atlanta’s modern history.
From the Civil Rights movement to the birth and growth of the Coca-Cola Company, you’ll hear about the buildings that once stood in and around the Park. You’ll also learn about those who bought and sold property that are now part of the park, as well as the major historical events that happened nearby.
