You certainly deserve to treat yo’self this holiday season, but perhaps you need a little boost to keep that fitness routine moving, or a break from the leftovers with some clean eating outside of your Tupperware containers.

Lucky for you, there are plenty of classes, gyms, and clubs you can join this season to stay motivated and moving between all the hustle and bustle of the holidays in Orlando. Hop, skip, and jump on over to these local spots for starting a holiday health and fitness routine this season!

So many Orlando exercise locations are running special promotions this holiday season! At many of these stops, you can pop in for a free first class. So test the waters, peddle your way up that incline or simply step out of your comfort zone at one of these local fitness joints!

HotWorx totally gets it – it’s the holiday season, and you might not have a ton of time for your daily workout! Well, you’re in luck. HotWorx offers both 15 and 30-minute classes at their 24-hour studio.

Their Isometric Workouts include a little something for everyone from pilates to yoga to barre. Or, if you’re in the mood for something a bit more intense, the HIIT classes are only half the time and include a cycle session or a Hot Blast full-body option! Watch as your heart rate travels from its resting zone to the Orange Zone – the optimal heart rate for fat burn and weight loss. If you’re the kind of person who dreads a lengthy workout or is worried about a lack of direction during your exercise, F45 is the answer to your prayers. This 45-minute functional HIIT workout targets your entire body while focusing on and improving your strength, endurance, and – most importantly during the holiday season: your energy levels!

Throughout this time-efficient exercise, you’ll be pumping iron and sweating out all that extra gravy from your holiday feast alongside a class full of people and guided by one of F45’s knowledgeable coaches. Your first class is free of charge, so pop on in to give it your best go this season!

Join a running club or group:

Perhaps the whole gym scene isn’t your thing, and you’re looking for a way to get some fresh air this season! Orlando has tons of running clubs and groups for you to join. Move and groove at your own pace with these cardio crews.

Every Wednesday at 6:30 PM, pop over to Ivanhoe Park Brewing to jog along and train with other local runners for the Orlando Track Shack Half Marathon. And if the motivation of other hustlers wasn’t enough to get you out the door, every new runner gets a free pint of beer. Cheers to that!

Book it on over to Tactical Brewing Company every Thursday to get fit with your fellow Florida locals. Every week at 6 PM, the crew meets for a 6:30 PM departure from the brewery. Plus, all runners get $1 off beers on tap!

Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM, rain or shine, join the folks at the Ten10 Run Club for a friendly jog! Choose your route—beginning and ending at the brewery—of either a 2-mile, a 5K, or a 10K distance. Be sure to sign-up for this Mills50 run club before popping over for a brew and a little cardio!

Weekly Wednesday runs around Lake Eola? What could be better! The Persimmon Hollow x Fleet Feet Run Club allows participants to pick their pace and route to accommodate personal fitness levels and goals. Each run begins promptly at 7 PM every hump day!
If you’re one of those people who needs quite a good reason to get up and run, you’re in luck. Running for Brews goes beyond that feeling of self-satisfaction, and throws in a beer at the end of your run! Every Monday at 7 PM, join the crew at Stilt House Brewery for an at-your-own-pace jog to keep you moving this holiday season!
Lace-up those sneaks for a Wednesday night runs at Hourglass Brewing! At 6 PM every Wednesday, the group takes off (at each runner’s own pace) for a 5K route. Find your footing, meet a new friend, and kickstart your holiday health and fitness routine at Hourglass!
If you consider yourself a cardio enthusiast, this spirited crew of runners and joggers is the place to be! The Orlando Runners Club participates in local races, marathons, 5Ks, and charity events every season at multiple locations. Listen up, ladies! This is the crew for you. Not only is it a great way to get in shape and feel your best, but Central Florida Women Runners allows you to build a community with other strong and inspiring women! While exercise is a key component to keeping your heart healthy and your fitness in check, your diet also plays a vital role! If you’re stuck on the leftover train this holiday season, consider branching out for a healthy meal at one of these local stops!
