What’s better than breakfast and lunch? Brunch! Have the best of both worlds in San Marco. The neighborhood is home to plenty of brunch spots and restaurants that offer a plethora of mouthwatering and savory menu items. No matter what you like, there’s something for everybody. These spots have entrees, appetizers, and snacks for all diets and appetites, so make your way to the six best brunch spots in San Marco!
Florida Cracker Kitchen
Florida Crackers are known to be the original pioneers of Florida, paving the way for food made from scratch. This spot continues that tradition with in-house menu items that are hearty and keep you happy and full! It’s really homey and the food fits the vibe of the establishment. Some of their foods include their famous skillets, like the San Ann Skillet with fresh ground beef, cheese, and more toppings that are served on a warm flour tortilla!
Southern Grounds believes a great cup of coffee brings people together. It creates friendships, begins conversations, and connects people through a common interest. Because of this, they dedicate themselves to creating a fun environment with curated coffee, wine, and food. Southern Grounds provides amazing brunch to those in San Marco and serves things like omelets, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and of course, fresh coffee.
Maple Street Biscuit Company
Maple Street Biscuit Company is all about the community and makes awesome brunch foods! They specialize in making biscuit sandwiches with different sauces and toppings. The biscuits are fresh and made with real butter, and the chicken in between is all-natural! We love that they made jams and jellies in-house. You can just taste the love put into the food!
Beach Diner is a full service with a brunch menu that is home-cooked and made fresh daily. For over 20 years, Beach Diner has made their establishment your home. Their list of favorites includes the Traditional Eggs Benedict dish. You’ll love this one. It’s served with home fries, grits, or fresh fruit, and the eggs are poached perfectly!
Beach Diner also has a kids menu so feel free to come with the family!
Metro Diner has breakfast, lunch, and dinner available, but their brunch favorites are for sure a main attraction! The Fried Chicken and Waffle is probably our favorite. The waffle is fluffy and sweet and has half of a fried chicken placed on top. It’s also topped with powdered sugar and strawberry sugar making it the most savory dish! The Biscuits and Sausage gravy meal are just as great too!
Sara's Bakery Cafe
That’s right-it’s a bakery and cafe! Sara’s Bakery Cafe sells a variety of desserts, including their signature cookies! On the cafe side of Sara’s Bakery Cafe, you should try their “Poor Boy” sandwich. Made with Boar’s Head ham, bologna, salami, and American Cheese, it’s all piled on pita or sub! If you’re in the mood for a more “brunch” meal, go for the Loaded Hashbrown!
