Events This Weekend
The Homestead – Miami Balloon Festival is back this weekend at the Homestead Speedway and bringing a gorgeous display of hot air balloons flying over the city. This outdoor event is open to all ages, and (well-behaved) pets are welcome, so bring the whole family out!
Ticket upgrades are available and depending on the package purchased may include a hot air balloon ride, an exclusive seated viewing area, hot appetizers and a champagne toast. Due to COVID, there is a capacity limit and all guests must pre-register prior to the event – check the link out below for ticket options and more information!

Leave the kids at home and enjoy a night of comedy at The Urban as renowned comedian, actor and voice-artist Earthquake takes the stage.
Originally from Washington DC, Earthquake has been featured on BET, HBO, Comedy Central, Showtime and more. Known by his fans as ‘Quake,’ he first got his start on BET’s Comic View and HBO’s Def Comedy Jam. This is a show you won’t want to miss.
The event is strictly 21+ and guests will be seated 8 feet apart to comply with social distancing. General admission and premium seat ticket options are available below.

The Barkyard Theatre at The Barnacle series is inviting all pups to a showing of Disney’s Up this Friday, March 26, at 7 PM! Presented by The Barnacle Society and Equipaws Pet Services, all proceeds of the event will go to rebuilding the coral rock wall that was damaged by Hurricane Irma.
A maximum of two dogs per person is allowed; all dogs must have current rabies vaccinations and license (tag on collar), and be well-behaved, which means no excessive barking or aggressive behavior.
Make sure to bring blankets and lawn chairs for comfy seating! A limited amount of chairs will be available for rent, and concessions will be available for purchase, including delicious charcuterie from Formaggi e Vino, soft drinks, prosecco, candy, and popcorn for the humans, and doggie treats from Bullie Bites.
All moviegoers are asked to socially distance themselves six-feet apart on the lawn and masks must be worn at all times, except for when eating or drinking.

Get a strong workout in and learn all about how to maximize your heart health at The Lisa Foreman Foundation’s Stronger Together Workout and Meditation at Osswald Park. This is one of two workouts the foundation is hosting in honor of heart healthy month.
Following the workout, there will be a group meditation and education on heart health. The event is open to the public, but attendees must sign up for a session as due to COVID-limited space. Sign up below!

Miami Retreat: Music Week is an immersive wellness retreat open to yogis of all experience levels. This special Music Week edition of Miami Retreat combines the experience of their traditional wellness events with the live tunes of some of Miami’s top musical local talent.
In addition to live house music and group flow yoga with experienced instructors, there will be goodies from Enough CBD Wellness Bar, flow yoga, light bites from local food vendors, AcroYoga performances and more.
No worries if you can’t make the event but still want to participate – virtual tickets are available for $8, while in-person passes range from $75-$275, with an all-access pass option that grants admission to both Music Week and Swim Week in July.
