7th Mount Dora Blueberry Festival
It’s blueberry season and Orlando and surrounding cities sure know how to celebrate with the 7th Mount Dora Blueberry Festival this weekend! Enjoy fresh local blueberries, blueberry inspired food, and a fun vendor fair in the heart of Mount Dora, just northwest of downtown Orlando.
Local blueberry farms from all over Central Florida get together for this annual event to celebrate the peak of blueberry season. Crafters and vendors, live music, blueberry beer and wine, and a daily blueberry pie eating contest. Be sure to bring the whole family out to this fun and exciting event!

Air Plant Wreath Workshop with Pinky
Thinking about making your own wreath this spring? Join horticulturist, Pinky Ormand for her Air Plant Wreath Workshop at Harry P. Leu Gardens this weekend! Pinky will teach you all about these amazing plants, and then you’ll be able to take home your beautiful handmade wreath!
All materials will be provided, but remember to wear gardening clothes and bring your own hand clippers. During this class you’ll also be walking around the beautiful gardens, and learning about the different collections Pink maintains. It’s a great weekend to be outside in Orlando!

Clean Up Ivanhoe Village
Ivanhoe Village is such a wonderful place to visit in Orlando, and now it’s time to give back to the community by participating in Clean Up Ivanhoe Village! Join Ivanhoe Village, Lake House Apartments, and Keep Orlando Beautiful to remove litter from the surrounding areas this weekend.
All materials will be provided, as well as masks and sanitizer in order to stay safe. This event is free, but you’ll want to RSVP to save your spot. Afterward, Orlando Bungalower will be providing some sips, and it will be a great time to explore the shops and restaurants in Ivanhoe Village this weekend!

SoDo After Dark 2021
South Downtown District is a fun spot to be in Orlando, but it’s even better after dark! Come out and enjoy an evening of live music, beer, wine, food, and more at Orlando Brewing this weekend. SoDo After Dark is the first of four signature events, so mark your calendars for more to come!
There will music from the Swamp Donkeys and Michael Ridway, as well as food and drink from the Gnarly Cuban, Zackley’s Pizza, Colom Catering, Swirley Wine Bar, and of course Orlando Brewing. There will also be life-size games and Bomb Blooms. Don’t miss this after dark event this weekend!

Central Florida Earth Day 2021
Central Florida Earth Day is back this weekend at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando this weekend! This event will include healthy living and eco-friendly exhibitors, speakers, and presentations. This is a great day to learn about to protect our health, the planet, and its inhabitants.
There will also be kid-friendly games, cat and dog adoptions, restaurant booths, environmental education, artists and craft corners, as well as live music and entertainment. Come on out to downtown Orlando this weekend to support local artists and celebrate our local environment!

When you think of a local Orlando business, Free Hand Good definitely comes to mind. Started in 2016 by Seth and Jacob, they wanted to make quality leather goods, candles, t-shirts, and hats, all within Orlando city limits.
Starting as a pop-up stand they now have stores in East End Market and in the Hourglass District, as well as other local pop-up events. Their products truly capture the Florida lifestyle, as well as highlight other local Orlando artists.
