You read that right, Mozarts has been putting on their annual light show during the holiday season for a whopping 10 years!
This year, they’ve changed the display up a bit from previous years to celebrate their milestone of lighting a portion of Austin up for one whole decade. They’ve decked out their deck with more than one million LED lights and have paired it up with their favorite holiday tunes for you to enjoy!
It gets even better because the whole show is free and open to the public! Seating is open and is first-come, first-serve so round up the family or your group of friends and head out to Mozarts for an evening of holiday fun.

2. Holiday Austin Flea at Fareground
Who doesn’t love a good excuse to do some shopping? Especially this close to the big day!
The market features the best vintage and local handmade goods. Find last-minute gifts such as jewelry, bath and body products, artwork, and so much more.
Get some shopping done and grab a delicious bite to eat. The market will be hosted at Fareground, a popular venue that is home to some of Austin’s favorite restaurants such as Dai Due Taqueria, Ni-Kome, TLV, plus more!
This is Austin Flea’s FINAL flea of the year, better yet of the decade! Saying that is never going to get old.

One of the most well known Holiday traditions around the world and you have the opportunity to see it right here in Austin. Witness Ballet Austin’s performance of The Nutcracker.
The ballet is perfect for those of all ages, even those of you who think the performance isn’t for you. You will leave in awe of how incredible it is. The performance is a total of two hours with two 45 minute acts and one 20 minute intermission.
The incredible performance boasts of more than 200 dancers, beautiful costumes, eye-popping sets, and is all accompanied by the Austin Symphony Orchestra.
If you haven’t planned your trip to see The Nutcracker now’s your chance. Catch it before they finish up for the season.

Are you ready for the longest night of the year? Honestly, I’m just glad it falls on a Saturday night rather than a weeknight.
The Winter Solstice is here and we’re officially saying goodbye to fall and hello to winter. Celebrate the solstice with Eden East’s annual festival complete with a craft market, pig roast, and more.
A farm-fresh family-style buffet and dessert bar will be provided for guests to enjoy. Additionally, there will be a complimentary bar with drinks served up from Desert Door, Hye Rum, Gratsi Wine, and more!
It is going to be one epic party out on the farm to welcome winter (officially).

Eden East Restaurant & Farm

The most popular light display in all of Austin is in full swing and is brighter than ever. The 2019 Trail of Lights features a number of light displays and interactive spaces for you to stroll through.
In addition to all the awesome visual aspects of the Trail of Lights, you can find local merchants and live music! Be sure to check out the new wine bar located in Zilker Village where you can get a wine flight and also make s’mores and roast your own marshmallows.
While some nights you are required to have tickets, there are a few nights with free admission left this season. Check out the schedule below to see what night is best for you!
