1. Museum Chills & Science Thrills
Get your drink & your science on at the Fernbank Museum for their Museum Chills & Science Thrills event on February 27th! This event includes after hours access to Fernbank’s indoor exhibitions, cool science demonstrations, and activities, cocktails for the adults, and snacks for purchase.
Themes change depending on the month and because it’s February, their theme for this month is freeze! Seems fitting, right? This experience is one that you will not want to skip and the best part is, is that it’s even kid friendly! Grab your whole family and see what experiments are going down at the Fernbank Museum if you’re looking for things to do in Atlanta this weekend.

2. Black Excellence Day Party: Celebrating Black Culture
It’s Black History Month and we have the perfect day party to help celebrate Black history and culture. Black Excellence Day Party: Celebrating Black Culture is happening on February 27th at Oak Atlanta and it’s everything you want it to be.
There is never a time to not celebrate Black history and culture and there a few amazing music artists hosting this event. All black attire is preferred but not required!

The only thing better than visiting the High Museum and being able to walk around and admire all of the incredible galleries is being able to do it with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performing! There are two pop-up performances taking place in the modern and contemporary galleries including a violin trio and a string quartet.
This is definitely a heightened way of being able to see and experience the High Museum and it’s one that you won’t want to miss. This is such a good event if you’re looking for things to do in Atlanta this weekend.

4. Nandi B's Yoga & Mimosa Class
Just when we thought yoga was fun enough, they decided to add mimosas to the mix! This beginner yoga class just got a whole lot more fun and it’s being taught by the fabulous Nandi B. Stretch, find a new flow, and improve your self care with this class.
If you plan on attending Nandi B’s Yoga & Mimosa Class, all you need is a water bottle & a matt. The mimosas will be served after the class ends.

5. R&B n Sip "Black History Edition"
Who doesn’t love some good R&B tunes, sipping on some delicious wine, munching on hors d’oeuvres, and painting a beautiful picture? The Legacy Studio Cafe and Celebrity Publicisits are hosting R&B n Sip “Black History Edition” at Cafe Blue on February 27th with special art instructor Redris Bell.
Enjoy live music and create an artistic masterpiece all from the cafe or from the comfort of your own home. That’s right – this event is also virtual! Whether you are joining in person or virtually, art supplies are included.
