Stubb’s doubles as a BBQ joint and one of the most iconic music venues in Austin! Located in the heart of Red River District, this spot features lots of big-name artists in its outdoor amphitheater. Be sure to buy tickets well in advance because they tend to sell out quickly!
This iconic spot hosts about 100 concerts per year and has a capacity of 2,500, making it an intimate, but still rocking environment to see a show! Plus, ACL Live Moody has the “longest-running music series in American television history.” It’s definitely a must-visit for music lovers, especially since it’s located on Willie Nelson Blvd!
Since 1871, the Historic Scoot Inn has provided East Austinites an incredible outdoor music venue. this spot features a large outdoor patio space with games, a dive bar inside with a lounge space, and a dance floor. Come watch the lineup of eclectic indie bands and enjoy a one-of-a-kind show!
In downtown Austin, the Paramount Theatre sits as a City of Austin Landmark, a State Landmark, and one of our favorite music venues! It has been on Congress Avenue for over 100 years and has consistently brought entertainment to Austinites and visitors, having more than 200,000 patrons every year. Seeing a show here is a must!
The Continental Club is your ticket to incredible rock, country, jazz, and blues acts from Austin and around the country! Snag a picture in front of the classic neon sign outside the entrance and enjoy the show at this retro Austin relic.

If you’re looking for a wide range of artists, Mohawk is your place. This venue, located in the Red River District, features artists from a variety of genres and a crowd just looking to hear incredible music. With four levels of views and both an outdoor and indoor stage, there are plenty of options for you to enjoy the show!
This eclectic venue is decorated with gold wallpaper and taxidermy, making it a fun environment with great vibes. Enjoy DJs, live music, and the large outdoor patio while you sip on a drink or bite from the bar! Hotel Vegas is located in the heart of the East 6th Street arts and entertainment district, so you can guarantee a great time here!
Formerly known as The Back Room, Emo’s has made a name for itself as an iconic music venue in Austin. While it came from Houston, it has found a home here and is a favorite for music lovers, with a great lineup of local and national artists!
There’s nothing quite like an underground jazz bar, and we love Elephant Room! This spot features nightly live music and more than 20 draft beers and wines by the glass. If you’re looking for a more laidback music scene, this is the spot for you!
