I don’t know about you, but one of my resolutions for the year 2o23 is to explore more of Houston. We have such a diverse city around us, and it is a shame that so often I find myself bored in my apartment instead of getting out there and trying the latest and greatest new Houston businesses! You’ve got to check this place out. I was in Katy last weekend to see what all the fuss was about, and trust me. This place is awesome. Popstroke combines your favorite things: an awesome golf course, some delicious food, and incredible drinks. They’ve got an expansive variety of craft beer, wine, and ICE CREAM! ? Tiger Woods designed this place, so trust us when we say it is different than any golfing experience you have ever had. Popstroke is complete with an app and a jumbotron so that you can see where you stack up on the leaderboard. ? Though this place is new in HOU, it’s sure to be all the rage for a long time. Get in on the action early!

There is a reason this place was one of the most popular pizzerias in Austin, and now they have made their way to Houston! You’ve got to check out this new in Hou pizzeria! They’ve got some of the best New York style pizza. Here you can get special toppings including FRIED EGGPLANT. I mean, I don’t know about you, but I am about to have to pause this guide and go grab some for myself. ?

Voted Good Morning America’s Best Burger in the US, Trill Burgers is opening its first physical location in Houston! Located in what was previously the James Coney Island building on Shepherd Dr., you absolutely will not want to miss these new in HOU burgers! According to Good Morning America, the best burger in the US is no joke, and we will be first in line once those doors open. Hope to see you there, too! Crispy Rolls Station is a new and delicious middle eastern food truck that can be found in the Galleria food truck park. Here, you will get a taste of middle eastern food like you have never had it before. We recommend you try the crispy beef roll and the loaded fries. There is a reason they’re called Crispy Rolls Station! This is definitely a food truck you don’t want to miss, and especially when we are in this cool weather it is great to grab a bite at the food truck park and walk around.

Looking to have an incredible dining experience and indulge in some hookah? ? This new in HOU establishment is perfect for you. Parkerz is one of the hottest new restaurants in Houston, especially if you are into dining with an aesthetic experience involved. Parkerz is covered in incredible artwork, with a different vibe in every corner. There is greenery, there is industrial art, there is a chill area. When we say they’ve got everything we mean they have got everything. And their food and cocktail menu is incredible. You’ve definitely got to check this one out.

If you are into space and astronomy then you already know from the name that this new spot in Houston is named after the Betelgeuse supergiant star in the Orion constellation. This is a new neighborhood cocktail bar and pizza spot that you must check out. They are opened everyday of the week till 2a.m., and kids are allowed till 8p.m. If you are a lover of cool vibes, food, sci-fi bathrooms, karaoke, live DJs, and more then this spot is a must visit!

Yoyo!! Yoyo’s Hotdogs is opening a permanent location at 8th Wonder Brew! YoYo’s hotdogs is a staple spot in Houston. Now with a permanent location it will be easier to grab the perfect hotdog that hits the spot Every.SingleTime. They also will still have their pop-up food trucks around Houston. Seriously their hotdogs are a must grab, just get two while you’re at it.

Coming soon, Heights Social is a new bar located right next to Drift. This bar will feature more than 50 TV screens, a 40-foot LED wall, art audio and visual capabilities, food, and cocktails. This bar will have a martini focused menu, but offers cocktails on tap, old-school martinis, craft cocktail shots, wine, champagne, and more. This is such a great night spot to go with friends or your lover.

Fine dining lovers, boy do we have the place for you. This new in HOU Indian Restaurant is going to leave you speechless. I’m sure you’ve got an idea just from those pictures, but really… there is nothing like this place. Located in the Woodlands, they say Amrina is fit for the modern-day princess and it truly is. If you don’t have plans for Valentine’s Day, this is the perfect place to grab a bite with your bae. Make sure you check their website for hours and reservation info. The atmosphere is impeccable and the food will change your life. Seriously. ?

Last but certainly not least, this new in HOU brunch spot is sure to be your new weekend hangout. Though it is new to the brunch scene, Little Hen has already made quite the splash. You have got to make a reservation here and check it out. This is the perfect place to get dressed up with your girlfriends on the weekend and have some mimosas.
