The PHS Philadelphia Flower Show at FDR Park
A personal favorite of ours, the PHS Flower Show is one of the best outdoor activities to attend to kick off the summer! With plenty of blooms and displays of grand landscaping and design, there’s a reason the PHS Flower Show is the longest running horticultural event in the nation. Utilizing the outdoor space offered by South Philly’s lush FDR park, the PHS show continues to wow us with new outdoor displays and nature scenes year after year. Get your tickets soon; the show is only a week long!

Including an art show, block party, youth open mic, and more, this Pride Festival is sure to excite and ignite pride in all of us! Show support for the LGBTQIA+ community and save the date(s)!

Philadelphia Juneteenth Festival at the Johnson House
This Juneteenth, the historic Underground Railroad site, the Johnson House, is hosting their annual Juneteenth Festival in Germantown to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved black Americans. With a block party, parade, and plenty of food and vendors, this celebration will both invigorate goers and educate them on the history of Juneteenth and the part the Johnson House played in the Underground Railroad. Philadelphia is a city rich in culture and history, so don’t miss out on this aspect of our city and what the celebration of Juneteenth really means.
