First. on our list of patio restaurants in San Antonio is La Fonda on Main. The oldest Mexican restaurant in San Antonio is also home to stunning patio seating that is the perfect backdrop for a date night.

La Fonda on Main boasts a tasty Tex–Mex menu as well as some phenomenal cocktails that pair perfectly with patio dining. We recommend the Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita or a Boozy Agua Fresca!

If brunch is your thing, La Fonda on Main has you covered with a Tex–Mex twist on some of your brunch favorites.

We absolutely love the atmosphere of La Fogata’s patio. The door to the patio is hiding some real beauty behind it! With green and lush foliage, brightly tiled tabletops, and banners strung across the way, it’s gorgeous!

We love the tropical feel of La Fogata while we dine on Chile. Rellenos and sip on our Blue Margaritas! This is the perfect spot to have family celebrations or to impress a date.

La Fogata gets extremely busy, so be sure to make reservations!

Ok, so The Moon’s Daughters is a rooftop restaurant… but we decided to include it since it’s outdoors and has some killer views. If you want that perfect skyline view while you dine, this is your spot.

Not only is the view beautiful, but so is their food. The Moon’s Daughters offers many delightful bites like grilled Octopus, Toro Taare Tar, and Burrata. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it!

This is a great restaurant to bring those out of town guests that want to see the city or to propose to your sweetheart.

Bring the Pups! Down On Grayson is such a pretty and fun restaurant with great patio seating. Not only do they delicious food that never disappoints, but you also get to look at all the cute dogs that have come to dinner with their humans. Down on Grayson is the perfect patio restaurant in San Antonio for the whole family!

We have a few favorites here. First is their tomato soup with grilled cheese, so delicious! We also really love their fresh fruit with cream as well as their strawberry cake.

Located at the Pearl, this restaurant gets crowded fast, so be sure to make plans for that!

Fig Tree

Located on the River Walk & La Villita the Fig Tree restaurant is absolutely stunning and romantic. The Fig Tree has a superb menu that includes dishes like Beef Wellington, (which is our favorite, btw.) Duck Confit, Quail, and flaming Baked Alaska to finish the meal.

This romantic restaurant is perfect for sipping a glass of wine and watching the River Walk views.

Be sure to make a trip around the holidays as this place turns into a winter wonderland with the River Walk decor.
