Alright Austin, we are coming at you with our favorite patios on South Congress. Not only do all of these restaurants have a super fun patio scene, but they also have amazing food! Located in the heart of everything SOCO is known for, here’s the only guide you’ll need when picking out where you want your Uber to drop you off for lunch or dinner!

Guero's Taco Bar

Ask any local, and they’ll tell you they’ve been to Guero’s once or twice before. It’s basically a tradition for locals and tourists. And if you’re lucky, you’ll nab a seat on their famous patio. Sometimes they have live music out there, but almost all the time they are serving margaritas and tacos. And right in front of their restaurant, they also have a smaller patio where you can order from their full menu!

Aba

People say you can for sure spot a celebrity at Aba because just look at the patio. It’s like a little Moroccan escape without hopping on a plane. Out of the patios on south congress, this one is built around a grand tree, with lounge seating, table seating, and an outdoor bar. We love the patio during the day, as much as we love it during the night under the twinkling lights.

Perla’s is basically an Instagrammable patio, with really great seafood options! There’s never a time when you’ll see this patio empty. With major seaside vibes and enough shade to cover yourself from the sun, this patio in South Congress is the prime location. All the hustle and bustle happens right in the front but in a “this is so Austin” way.

If you’re looking for a spot that has amazing Asian food in an outdoor setting, Lucky Robot is the spot to go. With the many patios on South Congress, the restaurant’s patio is shaded and in the middle of the fun South Congress foot traffic. Not to mention it’s right next door to Amy’s Ice Cream, so dessert nightcap anyone?
