Markets like Gruene Market Days are a great way to get your steps in and shop for local, healthy food. Plus, it helps the local economy too. If you want to keep it EXTRA healthy, then you might want to pay a visit to the Vegan Family Reunion. A pop-up market where you’ll find over 20+ Black-owned businesses with awesome music, plenty of art, and delicious food!

1. Pickleball Tournament
We’re ready for a breezy afternoon of good food, fun, exercise, and helping others out; we actually have the perfect spot to accomplish all those listed above!
Chicken N Pickle will be hosting the Spring Pickleball tournament benefiting “Voices for Children of San Antonio” which will be celebrating their 25th anniversary in the SA community!
This tournament will not only be helping others but also help jump-start Child Abuse Awareness Month. You and the fam will be having a great time but you will also be contributing to a great cause!
You’ll be able to join in on the action by creating a team or in the audience as fans! Children 10 years and older are encouraged to participate in the activities but everyone is required to have a fun time!
Social distancing practices are highly favorable and COVID-19 protocols will be in place.

2. Wine For Beginners (and people who just want to drink it) at Sylver Spoon
It’s wine o’clock and we’re ready for a serving… or a few and we’re headed to Sylver Spoon!
If you’re a curious mind wanting to know more about the types of wines out there, then this event is for you! Maybe you’re just down to drink and enjoy some yummy, light appetizers; this event is also for you!
At Wine For Beginners (and people who just want to drink it), you’ll get to taste 10 different types of wines and you’ll get the basic wine knowledge in a fun and very relaxed setting.

3. Gruene Market Days
“Deep In The Art Of Gruene” is the new motto and we’re rolling with it all of 2021!
That being said, you can definitely catch us at the Gruene Market Days come this weekend because shopping and trying new yummy foods is our favorite, especially when it’s local!
The vendor’s creations vary from beautiful art pieces to gourmet granola and pasta. You’ll get to find the perfect, one-of-a-kind item that you’ve been looking for. All items are of great quality and not to mention that buying local is great for the economy too.
The Gruene Market Days will be following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of both customers and vendors and will require face masks. Booths will be separated by 6ft and there will be plenty of sanitation stations.

4. Vegan Family Reunion
Are you ready to experience and support San Antonio’s 1st Black-Owned Vegan Market at The Cherrity Bar with us on Sunday? We’re ready to eat some yummy stuff and shop for amazing products!
At the Vegan Family Reunion you can expect 20+ Black-owned businesses that are:

5. Whataburger Hot Rod and Muscle Car Cruise In
Beep, beep! In the mood to rev your engine but nowhere to go? You might want to head on over to your favorite, Whataburger because they’ll be hosting Whataburger Hot Rod and Muscle Car Cruise-In EVERY Friday night!
This event will showcase a variety of gorgeous classic cars, hot rods, and a number of modern muscle cars too! Don’t have a hot car to bring, don’t sweat it! Everyone is welcome to stop by and take a look at all the beauties!
