Whether it’s pre-game or post-game, there’s so much to do around the ballpark. Between places to eat, bars, and the greatest view of Pittsburgh, we have all the best recommendations for you to have the best day on the North Shore!
There’s so many yummy places to grab a bite before you head in to the ballpark. From tacos, to burgers, and everything in between, check out our fav spots just outside the ballpark:
Bar Louie
Macs N Stacks
North Shore Tavern
We know what it’s like to be ballin’ on a budget so why not grab a drink before you head into the stadium! The North Shore has tons of options. These are also great places to stop by on your way out. Here are our favs:
The Riverwalk is the perfect spot for a pre/post-game stroll. With the best view of the city, you won’t be disappointed! You could even park downtown and walk across the bridge and down the river on your way to the ballpark!
Buy us some peanuts and cracker jacks – or some crab fries and a footlong hot dog. Whatever you decide, PNC Park has some of the best spots to eat and drink! Especially with the new updates to the ballpark, you won’t be bored with the options. Check out all the new spots in the stadium and where to find them!

We know how hard it is to balance your hot dog on your lap while you dry to take a sip of your drink in your seat. And with kids, that’s just a recipe for disaster. So you have to check out the new Picnic Park in the outfield. With a bunch of tables a chairs and the best view of the city, you can enjoy your favorite snacks without the balancing act.
Baseball games can be long, so why not play a game to pass the time. One of our must-do’s at a Pirates game is taking a picture with the Pirate Parrot! You can also try your best to find one of Pierogies, but they can be tough to spot. Our favorite green bird loves walking around the ballpark. And if you’re lucky, maybe he’ll give you a high five!
