It’s never too early to start planning ahead of time and with an exciting weekend lineup like Wurstfest @ New Bruanfels and PokéFest SA could you blame us? A new week means TONS of awesome things to do in San Antonio for the whole family to enjoy!

Reminder: Due to COVID-19, we understand there’s not a lot going on in our city. But don’t worry, there is still plenty of Stuff to Do in San Antonio This Weekend that can be done while social distancing. Be sure to double-check for any updates at events and venues before making plans to head out.

First things First, Saturday Entertainment in the Countdown City!

Whether you’re looking to have a family night out or looking to get away and enjoy a mom’s night out, we’ve got you covered! This Saturday is all about out-of-this-world entertainment! If you’re looking to have a family night, you can catch The Lion King. The Disney classic is being performed on stage by an amazing cast. Or if you’re looking to have a Girls Night Out, enjoy the amazing bangers like She Bangs or Hero. You can never go wrong with the classics from Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin.

We’re on our way to Catch ‘Em All, catch the Pokémon of course! The PokéFest SA has been going strong since 2016 with the best vendors, amazing guests, fun activities, video games, live entertainment, and so much more. This year you can catch special guests like Veronica Taylor the original voice of Ash Ketchum, Eric Stuart that voiced Brock and James, and Megan Hollingshead who voiced Nurse Joy. Did we mention that kids under 6 get in FREE?

Up for a drive? Head on over to New Braunfels for some great German beer and giant soft pretzels! Wurstfest started out in 1961 by Ed Grist for his love of sausage, fast forward to today and we’ve got a 10-day celebration. The celebration honors German culture and incorporates Texas tastes too. You can find amazing food, delicious beer to quench your thirst, fun carnival rides, games, live music, and so much more.

Who doesn’t love a great farmers market? The possibility of trying new yummy food is always a plus for us. Especially when it’s local and we know we’re getting great quality! The Farmers Market at the San Antonio Food Bank aims to bring a shopping quality experience in the areas it’s not always easily obtainable.

There will be plenty of produce from local vendors, loads of different items, a nutritionist will be on-site to help answer any questions, fun fitness activities, cooking demonstrations with helpful tips, fun kids corners, and sooo much more.

Feeling the Halloween blues? Not to worry because the First Friday Pub Run, Dia de los Muertos edition is happening this Friday. It’ll be a fun-filled night with drinks, dancing, and good vibes. 

You don’t need a ticket to join but your sense of fun is! Everyone will meet up at On The Rocks, 7:30pm sharp and go from there. The group photo taken by a professional photographer will be at 8:30pm.
