Known as the Celery City because of the large amounts of celery farming the city once had, the Celery City Craft Beer Garden highlights their traditions in a delicious way!

With 50 beers on tap from many local Florida brewers, as well as wine, cocktails, and Korean-inspired sushi on the menu, it’s the perfect place to meet up after work or for a getaway from busy Orlando. As one of our favorite bars in Sanford, “Hoppy” Hour is M-F from 3 pm-7 pm, and features all Florida craft beers for only $4!

The West End Trading Company is the hottest concert venue and bar in Historic Downtown Sanford. With live music, DJs, a full bar, pub grub, craft beer, and good vibes, it’s the place to be on any given day!

One of our favorite hidden tiki bars located inside Tuffy’s Bottle Shop is Suffering Bastard Tiki Bar! An intimate tiki experience serving you craft cocktails in unique, souvenir tiki glasses.

Not too far from Sanford, you’ll find Santiago’s Bodega in Altamonte Springs. Santiago’s Bodega is a tapas-style restaurant that serves European favorites like gazpacho soup, yellowfin tuna ceviche, spanakopita, lamb patties, beef carpaccio, and more.

Happy hour is held every day from 4 pm-6 pm, and the Altamonte Springs location has a weekend happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 pm-12 pm. Specials include half-priced draft beers, wines by the glass, single-well cocktail drinks, and $5 select tapas.

A staple in Historic Downtown Sanford is the Old Jailhouse. True to its name, the jailhouse was originally a blacksmith and wagon shop! In 1914, it was converted into the Seminole County Jail until 1949. Actually, it didn’t become a restaurant until 2017!

Learn the history and enjoy happy hour specials Tuesday through Friday from 4 pm-6 pm with $5 glasses of wine, $4 wells liquor, $4 craft beer bottles, cocktails of the week, and munchies like deviled eggs, fish dip, and tacos.
