San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo

The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo is more than just an 8-second ride, it has grown to be one of the largest single events in the city, bringing in people from all over to see what it’s all about. The Rodeo is an 18-day event that includes a stock show, shopping booths, family activities, and of course the RODEO! So hold on to your hat cowboys and cowgirls, it’s going to be a bucking good time!

Bud Light St. Patrick’s Day River Parade

It’s your weekend to get LUCKY! The annual kick-off of the St. Patricks Day Festival starts with the dyeing of the River Walk green and continues with 12 Irish-themed floats, music, dancing, drinking, and more! Grab your shamrock and pour yourself a green beer and we’ll see you at the River Walk.

Tejano Music Awards Fan Fair

This is always the BIGGEST weekend in Tejano music in San Antonio and as you know, we love our Tejano music! There will be 5 stages, more than 150 Tejano and Conjunto bands from all over the country, food, shopping, and drinks. The best part is that this event is always free and open to the public every year, so there are no excuses to miss out!

Valero Texas Open

Everyone in the golf world is anxiously awaiting the first major of the year at Augusta National, but before the game’s best head to Georgia, there’s some business to take care of in San Antonio. With 100+ years in the making, the Valero Texas Open is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, that makes its way to San Antonio every year.

Thousands of spectators make their way out to experience this special event year after year!

Poteet Strawberry Festival

Poteet Strawberry Festival attracts about 100,000 attendees every year. There are 14 areas full of entertainment, live music, a carnival midway, and rodeo performances. And of course, there are numerous foods made of delicious local berries (oh yeah!).

The festival is best known for showcasing locally grown products offering Poteet strawberry growers plenty of locations on the Festival Grounds to sell their delicious crops.

Fiesta San Antonio

Over the years, Fiesta San Antonio may have grown in size, but always kept to their roots. From the 1891 original Flower Parade to 100+ events spread across 10 full days of fun, you won’t want to miss a single minute! Some of your favorite events like the Fiesta Carnival, Crowning of the King, NIOSA, Oyster Fest, and many many more are coming in hot!

We personally can’t wait for April to arrive!

Tejano Conjunto Festival

The Tejano Conjunto Festival in San Antonio is the first and longest-running Conjunto festival in the country and is internationally recognized as the most influential event for this musical tradition. The 41st Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival is 5 full days of live performances TCF has grown over the years and draws more than 10,000 fans, dancers, and musicians from across Texas and the United States, as well as Mexico, Europe, and Asia.

Bud Light Pride River Parade & Celebration

Bud Light Pride River Parade was created to promote, encourage, and support the LGBTQ+ community to live openly with equal rights. The Parade will have two showings, each with more than 17 colorful river barges. The first on the Downtown Reach of the San Antonio River Walk will serve as the closing event for the Celebration festival at La Villita. The party will continue on the River Walk Museum Reach, which provides an additional opportunity to be part of the community!

Float Fest

Armed Forces River Parade

We love our military city! This parade is dedicated to the men and women in all branches of the United States Armed Forces and features beautifully decorated floats each carrying the different branches of military personnel with businesses and nonprofits who honor and support these heroes. This parade is always free from several viewing spots along the River Walk.

World Heritage Festival

Walk, bike, or run, to this unique event! If you haven’t had a chance to see the missions up close yet, this is your chance. Tour de Las Misiones is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to visit and learn about San Antonio’s historic Missions. You can either bike around, walk, or run from mission to mission and you come across enlightening activities throughout your chosen course. All events will begin and end at Mission Park Pavilion.

Luminaria

It never fails, come the holidays The River Walk will turn into a magical landscape full of twinkling lights, and festive floats to kick off the holiday season with this beloved San Antonio tradition! Each year has a theme, and we can’t wait to hear the 2023 theme. Come out to the River Walk and snag a seat, there is always free seating, but it fills up quickly!

Ford Fiesta de las Luminarias

Experience the holiday serenity of the River Walk with this centuries-old tradition as you stroll along the lush banks of the San Antonio River guided by more than 2,000 Luminarias at night. Luminarias are a traditional Mexican Christmas lantern originally consisting of a candle set in sand inside a small bag. Enjoy the Holiday lights overhead, the luminarias along the banks of the river, and the Ford Holiday Boat Caroling!
