Local Business Spotlight
Yoga Nook makes the mind/body mending of yoga with the community hub appeal of your favorite coffee shop or library! Owned and operated by veterans, this spiritual safe-space encourages students to explore the power of yoga on both the mental and physical states as it pertains uniquely to them.
In order to create bonds of community as part of the spiritual growth, Yoga Nook uniquely offers a free outdoor flow class (beginner and chair friendly) and invites local vendors to set up tables to share their specialized goods. They also offer a free military appreciation class for active-duty members and have partnered with the localized Celestial Farms for bunny yoga at the farm!
We genuinely love how accepting and welcoming this little yoga studio is and how the owner has such a soft spot for our veterans. For someone like us that isn’t exactly a yoga guru, it was awesome to have everyone make you feel like you belonged!
