St Patrick's Day Pittsburgh

Throw on some green and head out on the town! It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day and Pittsburgh is ready...

Pittsburgh has a rich tradition when it comes to St. Patrick’s Day Parade – The earliest recorded parade was in 1869. It has definitely come a long way over the past 153 years. From carts on the unpaved streets to a spontaneous parade in nine inches of snow in the 90s, to today’s all-day affair – the Pittsburgh St. Patrick’s Day Parade is something you do not want to miss! With about 1/5 of the Yinzer population claiming Irish roots, it’s nearly impossible not to celebrate. So if you’re looking for something to do, check out our guide to St. Patrick’s Day in Pittsburgh!
