Steak Dinners and More Stuff to Do in San Antonio This Weekend

A Story By

Giddy up Cowboys and Cowgirls because as Texans, we can handle anything in our way!

We understand that it’s been a rough past couple of days. Our concern is always the safety of our friends, you guys, the readers! As a community of San Antonio and surrounding towns and cities, as friends, as family, and as neighbors we’re getting through it together.

But remember that after the storm, there’s always room to play and have a little fun! Especially to support one another.

A new week means there’s FUN Stuff to Do in San Antonio for the whole family to enjoy! Keep scrolling to find out!

Reminder: Due to COVID-19, we understand there’s not as much going on as normal in our city. But not to worry, there is still plenty of things to do in San Antonio This Weekend that can be done while social distancing. Be sure to double-check for any updates at events and venues before making plans to head out.

A meal fit for a King or in this case, A Texas Cowboy or Cowgirl because after the past few days we’ve had us Texans deserve a little self-love and yummy food in our bellies!

Our friends at Central Market will be hosting A Cowboy Steak Dinner where you’ll learn how to prepare your very own Texan meal!  And of course one of our favorite things to do in San Antonio is cook and eat a delicious steak!

On the menu:

  • Texas Caviar (Black-eyed Pea Salad on a Bed of Lettuces)
  • Whiskey Marinated Cowboy Steak (Ribeye) with Sweet Onion Relish
  • Spicy Sweet Potato Steak Fries
  • Cast Iron Seasonal Fruit Crisp with Pecan Streusel Topping

Safety precautions will take place to keep everyone safe. “We ask that you return a signed copy of the waiver for each attendee via email prior to class.” Masks must be worn during cooking school and there will always be a 6ft distance. This event is for anyone 18 and up!
