If you love admiring the murals in St. Pete, then you’ll love this. PixelStix creator Matthew Walker and Shine have chosen 9 murals to share the story behind the work of art and the artist that created it. You’ll be able to do all of this from the safety of your car.
How it works:
Download the free PixelStix app on your phone
Search for “Drive-In Mural Theatre”
Follow the map to a drive-in location & park in a way that doesn’t block anyones view
Use the app to listen to a 3-5 minute explanation of the mural
When you’re done, hit the back button twice to return to the map and drive to your next location
This tour covers 2 miles of Downtown St. Petersburg. It’s a way to enjoy the beautiful murals while social distancing.
