Summer is upon us here in Tampa Bay and the weather is heating up! Our favorite thing to do is support our local businesses which is why we put together this May Local Love List.

These can’t miss spots will have you eating, drinking, shopping, and beaching your way through Tampa Bay! We know you’ll love them just as much as we do. Check them out below!

Noble Rice

Noble Rice is one of the hottest new restaurants in Tampa Bay and a great place to celebrate any special occasion! The interior ambiance is moody and dark, which sets the mood for the perfect date night. The food is traditional Japanese cuisine and everything on the menu is outstanding! We highly recommend the Hibiscus75 cocktail to start and the Kaya Toast small-plate.

The Roaming Petal

The Roaming Petal workshops are the perfect girls-day-out activity! If you love getting creative, you’ll love this. During a workshop, you’ll learn how to make your very own floral bouquets. Erica, the owner, is super knowledgeable on florals and will help you make your bouquets look professional. Remember to buy your tickets early, spots fill up quickly!

Jimmy's On the Edge

Jimmy’s on the Edge is one of our favorite beach bars in Tampa Bay with a spot in our May local love list! Being Clearwater Beach’s largest rooftop bar, it has 2500 square feet of outdoor space with amazing views. It’s is located on the 10th floor of the Edge hotel, so you can enjoy the sunset whenever you visit.

Pro-tip: If you stay until 9pm, you get a free shot of Fireball!

Vue 360 Rooftop Bar

Vue 360 Rooftop Bar says it all in the name – beautiful views of Clearwater Beach that can’t be beat! For our plant-based foodies, we have an amazing spot for you! House of Vegano is our brand new, go-to spot in St. Pete for sushi, ramen, and dumplings. Our favorite rolls are the Volcano, Spicy Crab, and Boston Rolls. The coolest part- everything is 100% plant based and vegan friendly!

Next on our May Local Love List is Ruth Eckerd Hall, located in Clearwater. This spot has so many great shows of all different kinds and genres to check out. 3 Daughters Brewing

3 Daughters Brewing, a May Local Love List favorite in St. Pete, has just opened their brand-new rooftop location in Clearwater! Go for the views but stay for the brews, and try out one of their 15+ beers on tap in the tasting room. Our favorites are the Strawberry Blonde and Raspberry Lemonade Cider! It’s the perfect way to end a beach day in Tampa Bay.

Cabana Club

Love the beach but hate carrying everything you need? The Cabana Club is a service you just can’t go without here in Tampa Bay! They offer beach cabana and umbrella rentals, and include everything you need for the perfect beach day. You get 5 hours of rental time to soak up the sun and enjoy the sand between your toes. Cena

Cena is a Channelside staple with incredible Italian cuisine. We love to get the Burrata as our appetizer along with a charcuterie board for the table. You also have to try their Meatballs that not even Bobby Flay could beat. For mains, their Waygu Short Rib Risotto is superb! In addition to awesome craft cocktails, they also feature monthly wine pairings. Pizza is temporarily only available at the outside bar every Friday-Sunday!

Pretzel lovers, you can’t miss this! Pretzel Haus, located in Tampa, will satisfy all your pretzel-loving dreams with every menu item. They have everything from classic pretzels, to nuggets, pretzel sandwiches, pizzas, and desserts! While you’re there, you have to try the Nutella stuffed pretzel to finish off your meal. Krate at the grove is a new open-air entertainment destination located in Wesley Chapel. They feature one-of-a-kind retail & restaurant concepts, with new places still being added! This spot makes for the perfect shopping day with friends or family, and you definitely won’t leave hungry. Of course we had to include it in our May Local Love List!

Renzo's St Pete

Different than their other concepts, the new Renzo’s in Downtown St. Pete is a great date night spot with an upscale atmosphere and awesome vibes. They have amazing steak and seafood choices, plus unique Argentinian wine choices and craft cocktails. Hang at the bar or a table under their wooden arch ceiling, the chef and staff are BEYOND amazing and treat you like family! They also have monthly wine pairing events!
