Is it too early to yell “Happy Holidays!” at everyone who walks by? We don’t think so. We’re skipping the week and jumping right into Thanksgiving, and we’re not ashamed of it!
Between some early Black Friday shopping and the 31st Annual Turkey Trot, we’ve got a lot of events and shopping on our hands, and we’re here to let you know what you should keep on your radar.
Read on, and start getting into the holiday spirit Charlotte!
What’s the best way to work off all those Thanksgiving dinner calories? Running in the 31st Annual Charlotte Turkey Trot of course! This turkey trot is one of Charlotte’s longest-running events and one of Charlotte’s largest events as well! This Thanksgiving Day tradition brings in over 10,000 participants. Bring your friends, bring your family, and let’s continue making this trot a Charlotte tradition!

If you love shopping local, you won’t want to miss this event. Lenny Boy is having its first-ever Black Friday market. Beers and early holiday shopping pretty much go hand in hand, right? Not to mention there will also be a mobile Axe Throwing area on-site! You know, to release those holiday frustrations at bay.
Some of the vendors that will be there include: Rub A Dub All Natural Suds, NB Organics, lumen, The Hooking Owl, and The Tinsel Crown!
NOV 29 | 12PM–5PM
Lenny Boy Brewing Co.
We love anything that has to do with dogs and we think that’s a well-known fact. You can bet that we’re taking our pups over to Pet In The City for some free photos with Santa! All they ask is that you BYOC (Bring Your Own Camera) and you can take as many photos as you want.
In addition to all of the in-store specials, there will be fundraisers, dogs for adoption, and a book signing with Rob Krotus for his book “When Dog Pals Fly across America!”
Donations for this event will benefit the Charlotte Black Dogs.
NOV 30 | 12PM–3PM

You definitely don’t want to miss out on this. The Charlotte Thanksgiving Day Parade started out back in 1947 as a small-town community event, but it’s still going strong! This parade is free for the community, but VIP seating is available if you want to truly get the full experience.
Experience Thanksgiving magic for yourself! Will we see you there?
