Discovery Green is one of Houston’s most prominent places to gather the Greater Houston community to connect and thrive together. Green Mountain Energy is a conservation company that strives to provide clean energy and educate others on sustainability. This year Green Mountain Energy is partnering with Discovery Green to highlight the celebration of birds and the importance of Houston as a migration hub for them. As a means, to introduce the initiative activities like live bird demonstrations from Last Chance Forever and Wildlife Center of Texas will fill the park alongside Native American bird-inspired dances from Houston Aztec Dances.

Additionally, Houston artist Reginald C. Adams will debut a new labyrinth piece that will be available for public use during park hours. Adams also will be getting involved in the event by aiding volunteers to complete his design, leading meditational walks, sound baths, and speaking about the spiritual practices of the event
