Join the Charlotte Symphony a night of patriotic favorites including Sousa marches, America the Beautiful, and the Armed Forces medley. Top the night off with a spectacular fireworks display! This is a perfect night to get yourself ready for the 4th of July.
The Alan Barrington Band kicks things off at 7PM, so if you want to get there early, you totally can! Save some cash and get your tickets in advance, price goes up to $20 the day of the event.
With Charlotte’s heat in the summer, everyone is dying to get on the water. If you do not have access to a boat on either Lake Norman or Wylie don’t worry because the US National Whitewater Center will certainly keep you cool this 4th of July.
This is the 9th year that the Whitewater Center will be holding their annual 4th of July Celebration. The best part? It goes for two days! That’s right, on July 3rd and 4th, the Whitewater Center will be providing you with all the outdoor activities you need.
In addition to the daily passes and tours, there will also be live music, yoga classes, and so much more! There will also be a fireworks show on both days.
On July 4th, one of the Whitewater Center’s best summer events will take place. You guessed it: the Battle Royal SUP Race! For those of you who are not familiar with the race, it’s a head-to-head SUP sprint on the Lower Pond. Participants will navigate through different currents and buoys in a tournament style. Whether you’re participating or just spectating, this is a can’t miss event1
Did you know that WBT hosts the largest fireworks display in the Southeast called Skyshow? Pretty cool, huh?
For 43 years now WBT has been putting on a firework show that can be seen throughout Charlotte. This is the perfect event if you want to stay close to the city center this 4th of July or if you just want to witness the largest fireworks display south of the Mason-Dixon.
Prior to the SkyShow, the Charlotte Knights will take on the Norfolk Tides at 6:05PM. What makes this firework show so unique is that the fireworks are lit right at the BB&T Ballpark. So essentially, you are getting tickets to two events for the price of one. Talk about a deal!
