Pumpkin Patches and Fall Festivals, Oh My!
It’s the most beautiful time of the year! The temperatures are dropping, the leaves are changing colors, but most importantly, fall festivals and pumpkin patches are in full swing for the season.
Check out some places you can explore around Austin this year to snag the perfect pumpkin picture!
1. Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch at Barton Hill Farms
Enjoy a day with family and friends picking pumpkins, wandering through corn mazes, snagging fall photos in front of their fun photo ops, listening to live music, and more. They offer a variety of games as well!
With so many activities you are sure to work up quite the appetite and who knows, you may become a bit parched as well. Barton Hill Farms has you covered! Try out their 100% beef hotdogs or hamburgers, snack on some kettle corn, cool down with frozen lemonade, and if you are really hungry, try out their pulled pork sandwich! For drinks, you can enjoy Lavell’s Lemonade, cold beer, frozen sangria, and other refreshing sips.
Check out the extra precautions they are taking to keep everyone safe during this time.

2. Sweet Eats Fall Festival | Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze
Just north of Austin, in Georgetown, you can find Sweet Eats Fruit Farm, and every year during this time they host their annual fall festival. The festival is complete with a pumpkin patch for you to pick out your own pumpkin to take home and a corn maze to get lost in.

Sweet Berry Farms (pictured above) is one of our favorite spots to spend the afternoon celebrating everything FALL!
Entrance to the fall festival is free, you only pay for the activities you would like to participate in. Activities include hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin painting, scarecrow stuffing, face painting, flower picking, sand art, barrel train ride, the berry bounce, pony rides, and more!

2. Boo at the Zoo
The annual Boo at the Zoo is returning this year but making a few changes to stay COVID friendly. Stroll through the haunted zoo for a spooky evening with your family dressed in your best costume.
To keep everyone safe they are requiring that all guests wear masks while in the zoo.

Join our friends down at Berkeley Farm for a family-friendly Halloween get together on the farm. This socially distanced gathering will feature Campfires, s’mores, hot chocolate, lawn games, and cute farm animals!
Kiddos are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and the adults are encouraged to bring their favorite adult beverage and picnic foods for the evening. Berkeley Farm is ready to supply all your family’s Halloween fun this year!

Pet-Friendly Halloween Pawties

Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about all you dog parents out there. With Austin being such a dog-friendly city, you better believe there will be some woofing good pawties that are sure to make you howl!
1. Dog Halloween Photo Booth
Time to break out that adorably hilarious costume you got for your dog months ago (no judgments) for a Howl-o-ween photo booth for your four-legged friend! Let’s face it, your Instagram followers want to see pictures of your dogs, not of you. Can you blame them?
They will have costumes for you to choose from for your pups if you don’t already have one so no excuses. This pawesome puparazzi is ready to take your pups pictures every Saturday this month!
