Another week is in the books and we have another bright one ahead of us. Let’s send September off with the best stuff to do in Austin this weekend!
From the ultimate Austin Oktoberfest to the ultimate Craft Beer Festival, I’ve got the inside scoop on this weekend and I’m sharing it with YOU!
Plus, since it’s the final weekend of the month, it’s time to look ahead at the best events in October.
We all know ACL Music Festival takes over the first two weekends but there is SO much more going on those two weekends as well. I have just what you need if you are looking to escape town while all the visitors are here or the perfect ACL pregame if you’re looking to mix things up a bit before hitting up the festival.

Just north of Austin and slightly further than Round Rock sits Georgetown, Texas, a town known for its downtown historic district.
The last Saturday of every September for the last 11 years, Georgetown has hosted their annual Wine and Music Festival. Back for the 12th year, the city of Georgetown is bringing together wineries from around Texas to their beautiful Town Square.
Texas wineries bring their best wines for you to sample as well as bottles you are able to purchase and take home. Food trucks and vendors will be on-site for you to purchase food and explore local goods. Carefully curated artists will be rocking the stage throughout the entire festival to keep guests entertained.
There are two types of tickets available for purchase: general admission and VIP. GA includes a souvenir wine glass and 12 tastings while the VIP ticket includes a glass, 12 tastings, access to the VIP sitting area, front of the line access at wine tasting tents, and a barbeque plate.

Asian cuisine is one of my all-time favorites and if you feel the same way, then our ultimate dream is coming true this weekend.
The first of its kind here in Austin, the Asian Night Market is modeled after the open-air nighttime bazaars of Asia, where people come together to eat, drink, and socialize.
With more than 50 vendors, arts and crafts, music, games, plus more entertainment, this event is perfect for a family outing or a date night!
The market spans over two nights which allows you to try as many different vendors as you can. Tickets are available online and children under 12 years old are free.

Speaking to you families out there with young kiddos, this one is for y’all! Touch-A-Truck is back again and bringing out all the stops to make sure you and the little ones have the best afternoon interacting with different vehicles and learning about how each helps the community in a different way.
In addition to their usual lineup of trucks, they will have live music, food trucks on-site, and a kids zone full of fun activities such as face painting, barrel train rides, a petting zoo, and so much more.
Proceeds for Touch-A-Truck go toward The SAFE Alliance, a non-profit focused on providing survivors of child abuse and domestic violence with resources they otherwise would not have access to. Last year the event helped raise over $125,000 and this year we want to make sure they top it!

Fall is officially here which can only mean one thing…it’s Oktoberfest season! What does Austin plus Oktoberfest equal? Austoberfest and it’s happening this weekend!
Enjoy an evening filled with delicious beer, tasty sausage, and live music brought to you by the Austin Polka Band.
Beer vendors include Alstadt Brewery located in Fredericksburg (their Lager is one of my top five favorite beers), Bell’s Brewery located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Community Beer Company located in Dallas, Texas, and Karbach Brewery located in Houston, Texas. The sausage will be brought to you by a handful of local vendors including Miller’s Smokehouse, Southside Market & Barbeque, Scholz Garten, Black’s Barbeque, and more!
Tickets include all you can eat sausage, drink tickets, specialty glassware, access to bowling, plus more.
Come out and celebrate central Texas German heritage the best way we know how!
