Labor Day Weekend in Miami might be one of the busiest times of the year for South Florida locals, but on the plus side, there are so many things to do! Whether you’re watching our Marlins score a home run, or partying poolside with famous DJs, there’s something for everyone this holiday weekend.
We spent the time finding the best things to do in Miami over Labor Day Weekend, so you don’t have to. We know you have much better things to do than scour the internet (TikTok doesn’t count, right?)
Either way, take a look at our weekend guide for this week!
Events in Miami This Weekend
What better way to spend your holiday than poolside listening to one of Miami’s top DJs? Hyde Beach in Miami is the perfect pool party to set off your LDW. The Saturday Swim Club is downright legendary, but this weekend they’ve added Duke Dumont to the line-up as the featured talent. There’re drinks, cabanas, a pool (of course) and it’s all a good time!
🗓 Sep 4 | 12pm
📍Hyde Beach | 1701 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Who doesn’t love a good rematch between two rivals? Spend your Sunday at the Hard Rock Stadium, experiencing the anticipated rematch between Florida A&M University and Jackson State University.
The goal of this event is to raise scholarships funds for the participating schools for years to come and to raise awareness and support other HBCUs. We guarantee a good time with good food and great people!
The long-awaited return of the Orange Blossom Classic means tailgating, bands, concerts, and of course the finale – the game! Doors open at 1 for the 3 pm kickoff, so don’t be late.
🗓 Sep 5 | 3pm
🎟 Starting at $45
📍 Hard Rock Stadium | 347 Don Shula Dr, Miami Gardens, Florida, 33056
Kick-off your weekend with some country, y’all! Grab a seat on the lawn to watch Toby Keith and Alabama perform a full concert for the guests of Schnebly’s Winery.
We recommend getting there a little early, so you can enjoy all that Schnebly’s has to offer. There’s a restaurant, bar, brewery and you can sign up for wine tastings and tours via their website. Also, we heard all music sounds better after a good wine tasting. Our favorite is the Avocado wine!
They offer pods for up to 6 people to comply with social distancing. So bring a blanket and get ready to get your country on!
🗓 Sep 2 | 9pm–11pm
🎟 Starting at $56
📍 Schnebly Winery and Brewery | 30205 SW 217th Ave, Homestead, Florida, 33030
If there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that The Wharf knows how to throw a party. They’re hosting a Brazilian Independence Day bash this Saturday complete with live performances, drink specials, and even a specialty bar with 14 flavors of Caipirinha. Of course, there will be different food trucks around, and don’t forget to bring your pup!
Take in the view of the Miami River, enjoy some live music, and taste good food this Labor Day.
🗓 Sep 4 | 12pm
📍 The Wharf | 114 SW North River Dr, Miami, Florida, 33130
We can’t think of a better way to celebrate a great American holiday than with a great American pastime? Tickets are on sale now for the Marlins vs Phillies baseball game, and whether you’re a Marlins fan or just a Miamian looking for a good time, this event is a no-brainer. Grab some friends, and some hot dogs (because, duh) and cheer our Marlins on at the top of your lungs!

📍LoanDepot Park | 501 Marlins Way, Miami, Florida, 33125
