Another one of our favorite things to do in Tampa Bay this weekend is to visit one of our beautiful beaches–responsibly of course! Don’t you just miss having sand in-between your toes?
The Beach Capacity Dashboard on the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office website lists out all Pinellas County beaches and shows their capacity in real-time.
You can see if your favorite beach is open, reaching capacity, or full/closed before you decide to visit!
Under Florida’s Phase 1, restaurants are now allowed to have indoor seating at 25% capacity–bar seating is closed. Tables outdoors must be separated by at least 6 feet and groups with more than 10 people should not be seated.
City of Tampa launched the Lift Up Local Economic Recovery Plan, which temporarily allows businesses to expand their outdoor capacity while following CDC guidelines. Streets such as Twiggs in Downtown Tampa and East 7th Ave in Ybor City are shut down to expand outdoor seating!
If you choose to go out, please enjoy your favorite local restaurants responsibly!
Another thing to do in Tampa Bay at home is working out with local gyms! Gyms are not open so many local gyms and studios are offering awesome home workout options.
Retail stores are allowed to operate at 25% capacity in Tampa Bay. Many are opening with restrictions and asking for those who are sick or those who have been around anyone who is sick to not come into the store.
Local gift shop, Hazel + Dot, is open for appointment only but still offering virtual shopping and curbside pickup/delivery to those who don’t feel comfortable.
