Galleries & Shopping
Don’t get us wrong, we love staying out in the water and feeling the sand between our toes. But sometimes the sun can get a bit unbearable! When we’re over the hear, we love taking a break to stroll through local art galleries and do a bit of shopping.
Fig and Willow is one of our favorite local boutiques just a short drive from the Jacksonville Beaches. Here, you can snag the trendiest pieces of the season. They have beautiful, elevated pieces and locally-made accessories!
Ashes Boutique & Tea Room combines artwork with a unique shop and a charming tea room. Grab your friends and sip on some afternoon tea while browsing through clothes, gifts, and jewelry!
The Artistree offers the most current and trendy contemporary faux finish painting techniques for personal and commercial services. At the Fine Art Gallery, artist William Meyer recycles his paints from The Artistree to create fine art products. His painting styles include beautiful landscapes, portraits, and more.
Eat & Drink
One thing we always tell our friends to check out when they ask us for things to do in Jacksonville Beach is the awesome places to eat around the beach! There is a handful of local breweries, bars, restaurants, and pup-friendly restaurants to pick from. Keep scrolling for some of our faves!
BrewHound is definitely a must-visit spot for anyone driving around Jacksonville Beach. Just a short drive away, this dog-friendly spot has an off-leash dog park and is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a local brew with their pup. The Porch, a covered, cabin-style bar is fully equipped with a beer garden of locally sourced craft beer, wine, Bold Bean specialty coffee, Yum Cha Tea, and specialty canned beers and spirits.
Pro tip: text ‘DOGPARK’ to 36000 to get a weekly text of events and a free iced coffee or tea during your next visit!
PSSST…BrewHound shared some awesome secret menu items with us that we just had to share with you guys! Give them a visit and order a Coffee Float to reenergize and cool down during the day. Also, their fave tea cocktail right now is the Blue Coconut Tea and the Pineapple Haze Cider, which are 2-for-1!
Dockside Seafood is located along the eastern edge of the Jacksonville Beach Boat Ramp. It’s a casual setting with high-quality, fresh seafood that we can’t get enough of! The best part about eating here is the beautiful view of the Jax boating scene.
Beach Activities & Other Attractions
We totally won’t judge you if you’re the type of person who prefers to move around rather than lay in the sun. We get that.
