Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, (so we’ve heard) and one of our favorite places to catch our first meal of the day is at Alamo Biscuit Co.

There are loads of delicious options from Brunch Tacos to Burgers, you won’t be disappointed. But if you’re indecisive like us, then your best option would be the Sweet or Savory biscuit flight. Or both! The chorizo biscuit is really unique and authentic to San Antonio. Give it a try and let us know what you think.

Pro Tip: If you’re feeling parched, there are also super yummy mimosa flights, and don’t forget the pan dulce!

2. Verve Pie

We’re all about balance, so don’t be surprised when we’re taking a break from the snacks and focusing on the goodness that goes into our bodies. Verve Pie does that for us because they offer “plant-powered pizza AND ice cream.”

Our favorite has got to be “The ‘Better Than’ Pepperoni” pizza but we’re here to showcase that beautiful ice cream flight! Dessert is our fave and if it’s healthy, that’s a bonus! You’re able to pick 3 flavors such as Vanilla, Mint Chocolate Chip, and even Cookies & Cream! You’re sure to fall in love with all of them.

3. Elotitos Corn Bar

Scratch that, snacks are the most important meal of the day because they provide fuel in between. Elotitos corn Bar provides that fuel and sooo much more!

Brunch with friends? Count us in! Snooze, an AM Eatery is the perfect place to grab a bite before you take on your day.

The menu is “Breakfast But Different,” offering faves like Benedicts and delicious AM sandwiches. We’ve also heard that Micheladas cure hangovers. In case you’re not feeling too well, order one or two!

But pancakes are a breakfast staple, so it makes sense to have them on a flight! The Pancake Flight includes Pineapple Upside Down, Blueberry Danish, and Sweet Potato. Yum!

Bonus Tip: If you’re into the “Gluten Free” lifestyle, they’re happy to make it for you. Just ask! The jams (non-edible) are always on point and you can listen on the go here!

5. Paciugo San Antonio

Do you have a sweet tooth as we do? Dessert is always on our mind and one of our places to get an assortment of satisfying flavors is Paciugo San Antonio.

They offer the best Gelato, which is freshly made every day. Paciugo SA also has Sorbet and Vegan alternatives. There are yummy Macaron Gelato Sandwiches but we’re set on the Affogato Flights! You’ll have the option of picking 3 gelato flavors and the corresponding drink for it. The best part is that you can either sip or pour it over the ice-cold gelato!

6. Smashin Crab

Seafood galore, yes, please! Especially because eating seafood always brings the summer vibes, no matter what season it is. At Smashin Crab you can enjoy some oysters, boils, and shrimp po’boys too. Delicious food that brings the family together!

But don’t get too full on snow crab legs that you forget about dessert! The cheesecake flight is perfect to have after your shareable seafood. The Triple Chocolate is chef’s kiss! Hey, we won’t judge if you want all the cheesecake options for yourself. Indulge away!

Fresh daily pastries like muffins and kolaches with a Coffee Flight for that EXTRA boost of energy? Yes, please! The possibilities are really endless but if you’re unsure of what to get, you can always ask the baristas to surprise you. Which is always a lot of fun!

9. Sunshine House Coffee

A cute coffee shop both inside and out, that brings all the special types of vibes? We’re in! Sunshine Coffee House is great for hot, iced, and frozen drinks. Plus don’t forget about grabbing breakfast or an afternoon snack like a yummy smoothie bowl.

They’ve caught our eyes with their latte flights but especially with their refreshing Tea Flights! The flavors vary depending on season and what’s available at the time but most are organic with no artificial flavors, and you can also sweeten the teas with local honey or simple syrup.
