Houstonians will get the opportunity of a lifetime to watch USATF Olympic hopefuls and professional athletes as they compete for their place in the summer Olympics!

It’s that time for the best of the best athletes to gear up for their journey to Tokyo for the Summer Olympics. Fans will get to see professional athletes in action after waiting five years since the final training camp back in 2016 as the U.S. Track & Field team prepared for the Rio Olympics.

Bring the whole family out and start creating your summer memories and catch the final meet on Sunday, June 6th on the campus of Prairie View A&M University. Children ages 6 and under are even free to enter.

Houstonians can get a glimpse of the high-level competitive professional athletes and Olympics hopefuls as they compete for world ranking points and cash prizes.

Star athletes Kortnei Johnson, Javianne Oliver, Dezerea Bryant, and Sha’Carri Richardson, who combined clocked the fastest time since the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha, will be gracing the track on Sunday.

You can also catch Olympic medalist Ashley Spencer and star athletes Kenny Selmon, Dominica’s Thea LaFond, Jessica Beard, Kori Carter, Kaylin Whitney, and Raevyn Rogers.

Cheer on your favorite athletes during the various events and catch them before they make their way across the globe.

Back in April, Prairie View A&M University was the first historically black university to host the Texas Special Olympics track and field contest. The university’s stadium, however, has been a world-renowned host of USA Track and FIeld qualifying contests, according to HBCU Buzz

Take pictures of you and the family showing support during this one-of-a-kind opportunity on June 6 from 10AM to 4:15PM and tag @StufftoDoinHouston! And don’t forget to snag your tickets.
