Events This Weekend
1. Sips - Valentine's Day
We cannot wait for this first event because the attendees include jellyfish and whale sharks! The Georgia Aquarium is hosting their annual Sips – Valentine’s Day event, and it’s an event that you are not going to want to miss if you’re 21+. This socially distanced event allows for viewings of galleries in the aquarium with a more private setting.
As you become best friends with the sea creatures behind the glass, you can grab one of their feature popular cocktails and your loved one to dance away the night with the live DJ. There are also dining options for you to enjoy if you get hungry.
Grab a ticket to walk around the world’s most famous aquarium this Valentine’s Day weekend!

What’s better than celebrating one holiday in a weekend? Celebrating two! Ponce City Roof is hosting their annual Mardi Gras on the Roof event, and you are going to want to be a part of it.
With daiquiris, crawfish boils, jazz bands, and beads, you are going to feel like you are transported right to New Orleans without even leaving Georgia! Pretend you’re in the French Quarter and enjoy specialty cocktails all night.
Not to mention, admission also includes access to Skyline Park’s unlimited gameplay and rides.

More than 20 tour stops go into the stories of the gone but not forgotten residents of Atlanta. This event is one you won’t want to miss at Oakland Cemetery and is definitely a local favorite. Once you finish the tour, you can grab dinner at one of the haunted restaurants located nearby.

4. Market in the Garden
Who doesn’t love a good market? Probably any partner that doesn’t love shopping like you do. But that’s okay because it’s Valentine’s Day weekend, right?
Shop local and support small businesses right here in Atlanta by visiting Market in the Garden at East Atlanta Village. There are so many goods to choose from, and you will most likely not leave the market without something in your hand.
There are so many handmade items here as well as incredible art. This is a great event to attend if you’re looking to support the community and buy your special someone a thoughtful gift. Did we mention it’s also free?
